No naughty happy endings for a while, I don’t think. I had to rush the spouse back to the ER last night with a fever of 105. IV meds were administered to combat the fever, and they worked, which makes me wonder why they didn’t do that when we were there on Saturday night. We’ve had too much excitement this year, and it’s only February.

As for me, the chest pains are back, my blood oxygen has been hovering in the low to mid 90s, and I’m absolutely exhausted. This time around has been a lot worse. A lot worse.

It’s Full Frontal Friday, and I’m really not feeling it, hence the unoriginal pose. I’m exhausted, my nerves are shot, and I’m dreading how horrible I’m going to feel after work. For me, the actual illness wasn’t as bad this time, but the after effects have been compounded with what I was already dealing with.

I know I’m complaining, but given what’s happened in the last six days, I think I have every right to. Have a good day, everyone. I’m going to try to have one, but I doubt my body will give me much of a choice.

Yesterday was rough. The tightness in my chest was so bad I was sent home, and it looks like I may have to go on medical leave or temporary disability. I’m not happy about that. I was recovering. It was a slow process, but I was getting there. Then I get sick again and it all gets ripped away. Fuck COVID.

Thank you for the compliment, but as I said, I’m not feeling it right now.

So. Yeah. Feeling pretty shitty both physically and mentally. I left a message for my therapist, and she’s good about returning messages. And I have a video call with primary care doctor on Monday. Hopefully we can come up with a plan of attack to get me back up to snuff.

I had all these plans. I was going to start doing planks again to strengthen my core, I was going to go for more walks to get my endurance back up. Hell, I was thinking of jogging a couple times a week even though I hate running. Then I got sick and my body said, “not happening.”

Sorry about the pity party. To make up for it, have a pic. Nothing special today. Just me.

A bit of a content warning for today’s offering. Back in November I had the mole on my upper chest removed. It was doing weird stuff; parts if it were drying out and crumbling off. So I had it removed, and it turned out to be benign. Because of the removal, I have a red mark in place of the mole, and it’s finally looking better, so today I didn’t crop it out.

Good to have it off. Not bad to have the full head to toes skin inspection once every now and then. Scalps for guys that keep their hair close can be the hidden area. Most swimsuits are not UV proof unless labelled that.
Hope you are getting your breath back bit by bit, and don't forget to do the insulin check, although if you have got the horn back then unlikely!

Just you is always special. I hope that you have productive calls with both your therapist and doctor today. I know that you were close to getting back your strength and endurance. This is a setback, but you will get there again. Sending a gentle hug.

I’d had the mole for, I think, sixteen years. I’m not a beach goer, as my part complexion shows, and my own insecurities make it hard for me to go without a shirt in public. Yet I’ll post nudes on the internet, go figure.

The breathing is still bad, but it’s the tightness in my chest that’s more worrisome, as well as the pain in my legs. We’ll see what the doctor says today. As for the horn working, that would be better if we were up to putting it to use. My spouse had this worse than I did. The fever finally broke after a couple of weeks and two trips to the ER.

My job is suggesting I take medical leave and go on temporary disability while I recover. We’ll see what the doctor says.

I get rid of moles when they come up with apple cider vinegar, no kidding, it works! Glad there was no cancer!! :heart:

Update, if you’re interested. I’ve been experiencing a log of pain in my legs and knees. Of course, last night’s knee pin may have been brought on by the rain, I don’t know. The brain fog has also been really bad, and a fifteen minute excursion yesterday wiped me the hell out. COVID’s parting gifts this time around are worse. That, or they’re compounding the problems I was already having.

That all having been said, it’s Full Frontal Friday. I hope this is acceptable. I’m still not feeling all that sexy.

One of the parting gifts this round of COVID bequeathed to me was pain in the muscles of my legs, specifically my quadriceps, and my knees. My knees woke me up at 3:30 this morning, and sleep has eluded me since. Of course, the fact that I fucked my knees up due to four years of track and field in high school doesn’t help.

What does that have to do with Monday? Nothing, except to say that my ass is dragging. More than usual I mean. Hopefully I can get a nap in today.

mmm. I like the pictures. I think going back to work after a long break always seems especially unpalatable. It will likely be better than expected, especially once you really get back into it. I hope tomorrow goes well.
