lol, that is true I guess. Maybe someone will put you in theirs. We need to change things up a bit anyway. No offense to the other stories, because they're all amazing.

Does anybody know how many pages in Word translates to how many pages in Lit? I'm afraid my story could end up very very long if I'm not careful. I shall write it all then edit, edit, edit. Thanks :rose:

I think 6 MS Word pages = 1 Lit page

I'm thinking I should keep it to 3 Lit pages max or people are gonna go nuts. We'll see. If I can keep the pace up, I might let it go longer. Don't want people getting bored on me.

I don't think you should limit the length. Just tell your story. If it's ten Lit pages long, so you'll lose a few trolls.

But you won't lose anybody who really enjoys a good story.

And when did mean get to equal nice?

Editing is a useful thing for getting a very tight story though. If I try to keep it to a reasonable length, that will help me find the dross in it. If it goes a little longer but stays tight and makes people want to go to the next page, I'll leave it in.

He asked me who suggested more of me was a bad thing. I replied that mean people did but that he was nice.

Oh, I didn't mean not to edit. I just think you shouldn't be concerned if it, edited, still turns out to be several Lit pages long. I'd much prefer to read a good story thats a bit long to a one page piece of junk. And, no, I'm not saying anything you write that is only a page long would be junk. Some, maybe many, one pagers tell the story very well. I tried to make my AH Fantasy a one page story, and almost made it. It trickled over to page two. And it's got a red H beside it, thanks to people like you, hon.

There's no way I'm going to be able to keep a murder mystery with this many characters to one page. I'll be lucky to manage just three. We'll see what happens.

CSI is good. Don't like the spin-offs quite as much. I was thinking an episode of Murder She Wrote, since the characters are writers.
