I honestly feel like most of the secret is having an attitude of availability.

My appearance and manners haven’t changed since my marriage became open, but, now that I have the attitude that “I’m available,” it really switched a mental gear and I’m way more likely to notice attention and recognize it for what it is.

I still used to get it, but I didn’t allow myself to acknowledge it and would pretty much just put it out of my mind. I don’t know if I’m getting more than I used to, but I’m recognizing/spotting/aware of more than ever.

So, if you’re available, then just don’t talk yourself out of recognizing it when you spot it. Maybe also be free to interact playfully - maybe just this side of flirting, but playful enough to elicit flirting from others.

When you look for it and are prepared to find it and pursue it, you’ll spot it a lot more than you’d ever expect.

You just have to be around other people a lot. This can’t work if you don’t spend time outside your home or workplace, crossing paths with women in situations such that you can interact with them.
