For what it's worth, relationships between second cousins, are legal in all jurisdictions in the US.

Well, you didn’t say that. This isn’t about whether it’s wrong to do your cousin, it’s about whether it’s wrong to do someone who’s not your wife.
Ask her? Every marriage is different, maybe she’ll be cool with it.
If your cousin’s married, maybe she can ask her spouse too.

Where I am from second cousins are fair game. First cousins are legal, but discouraged.
Second cousins are legal in the USA. First cousins are complicated. For example, Virginia allows marriage between first cousins, but West Virginia doesn't - probably because they got sick of all the jokes. There are some oddities such as Maine where, IIRC, they allow marriage between first cousins when the woman is past child-bearing age.
