The Politics Board is a fetid cesspool of untreated waste on the best of days. Will only get worse from here. I've completely avoided it ever since the election. You seem nice, so I suggest you do the same.

Im just thrilled you responded to my cum lauder joke 🤣. Everytime Im at a graduation all I think about is this person came louder in their dorm room than any other😏. But hats off to you being a college graduate but still willing to share your mind and body for all of us out here on lit.

I haven't even gone close to it - one of those places where, in spite of the room's intentions, I feel like no good can come from venturing in and.. 'debating'

yep, no one is going to convince me that say...we need more guns. Or the D o E should be abolished. Or LGBTQIA+ peeps (and Muslims, Jews, Black, Hispanics, Asians, and/or all women...etc.) are less than. Or ther govt can say what needs to be done with my body. And so many other things. But whatever.

Truly, I don't envy your country these debates even slightly; am glad to be availed of most (not quite all) of them over here!

I absolutely agree with you, and wrongfully believed that most of our fellow citizens felt the same way. But let's not turn this into the Politics Board Lite, okay? Your thread should be all about the joys in life and sexy fun. Not that I'm trying to "mansplain" to you or anything... 😆

In case it isnt obvious...I lean pretty far to the left.

That said, I have a couple more conservative views:

1. I am for capital punishment. You murder a slew of people as an active shooter at a school, mall, movie theatrer? I have ZERO issues if you die.

2. Slightly mroe debatable but...trans people competing in sports events of their "new" sex. Men are GENERALLY just bigger, stronger, faster than women. Not all. But more often than not. And some of my friends are former track atheltes, swimmers, etc...so if a trans woman competes, they have an unfair advantage. Now, you want to make a separate event for trans people? Fine. Or maybe somehow handicap them (ie adding on time for example), I am listening. I dont know the answer or whats fair. I just think it needs to be ironed out a bit.
