Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense

They set themselves up for whatever consequences that will be coming when they made the decision allow themselves to become corrupted in furtherance of their careers.

Most likely there won't be any penalty. Those who don't resign will likely be allowed to remain in the military and continue to serve. Those who were the leaders might end up transferred to undesirable posts where no matter what they do it won't affect anything. However, for the most part, nothing else will happen.

I could be wrong, but honestly, do you believe they'll actually be punished?

Why would they be? Nobody suggests they're taking bribes or anything. Doing DEI because civil government wants it is not in any way corruption.

A few white supremacist tattoos, a couple of failed marriages for fucking around and some whore gets bruised up after some repub womens gala. Ha!

Sounds like a contender!

Keep in mind though Teddy Kennedy could top that at a Wednesday Happy Hour!

No, not in any retribution context. But everyone will know why they were transferred or asked to retire and that will be enough. Hegseth has bigger fish to fry.

Ass kissing and politics is not corruption, lack of integrity is not corruption. Generals are politicians who wear uniforms.

It's awesome that you all love service members instead of hating specific members who do things you don't like.

"Thank you for your service.....wait a second...you didn't bow to dear leader......fuck off and die!!!"

Plotting to circumvent the civilian leadership is. IF that occurred then they need to severely punished.

What Milley did was reprehensible and he should have been fired for it. Vindman should have been charged with conspiracy to subvert the president of the US. At the time any act against Trump was sanctioned by the democrats, Trump was caught between a rock and a hard place. Hope this new administration learned from the past. Dems are not to be trusted with power.

And this coming from Slotkin, who once more stole her Senate seat thru vote-rigging and fake ballots.

Tough shit. It's time to purge the military of the damage done by woke political appointees and get back to a strict military meritocracy based on one thing - winning wars and killing enemies of the USA. Fortunately, there's still time to fix the damage Democrats have done, de-politicize the military (let's all hear it for a court-martial of Milley asap) and put THAT genie back in the bottle.

She won because voters elected her.

Well, soon we will have the least competent, most corrupt administration in American History. We do live in interesting times.

Some surprising news yesterday…Hegseth’s attorney says the confidentiality agreement that had been reached with the woman who accused him of rape is no longer in effect. She is free to speak publicly if wants, at her own risk.

‘Well That’s News’: Kaitlan Collins Taken Aback When Hegseth’s Lawyer Says Client’s Accuser Is No Longer Bound by Confidentiality Agreement

PARLATORE: Well, so, first of all, it’s not– a nondisclosure agreement is something where one party agrees not to disclose. This is a confidential settlement agreement that had confidentiality on both sides. That agreement has since been breached by her. And so as a result, I sent notice to her attorney that that agreement is no longer– has any force in effect. That’s one of the reasons why I can talk about it here because prior to that, the agreement prevented Mr. Hegseth from talking about her conduct. So, there is no NDA to release her from. And if she wants to go and talk about it, she can do it. I mean, certainly, she would do it at her own peril of a further defamation lawsuit, but– and additionally NDAs–
