Sounds nasty. I have experienced Scottish midges. I don't recommend them.

Sometimes wire terminals get dirty. But it's always good to check the battery. Glad you got that taken care of. Have it tested for amperage draw also. Make sure nothing is draining the battery while it sits.

I have a good friend that I work with who, like most people I work with, is staunchly of a particular political disposition.

He likes me. I’m his best friend at work. I know he cares about me. But I can’t talk politics with him without him getting to a point where he’s on the verge of calling me names and accusing me of things.

I’m glad I’m not there.

I hate that he’s so conflicted.

But I’m not sure I can help him in this journey by any more effective means than just being a good guy that he thinks he should hate.
