Key in the ignition, cycle it On-Off several times really quickly. (It's worked for me on a couple of cars...)

Security system issues can be a pain. When you put the key in to start, is the anti theft light flashing or staying lit?
Anti theft is flashing when I’m not in the car and when I turn the key it stays lit.
Yeah, your physical key as a microchip in that shakes hands with the anti-theft system, and that may have gone pear-shaped. Do you have roadside service either through the car or a service? No spare key but this car doesn’t use push to start. It’s a physical key. And the lock/unlock buttons on it are still working.

So here's the thing. You can't change everything at once. SS comes first. DMV needs your new SS card to make their changes. Then the banks need your driver's license. So in between each thing you're waiting 2 weeks to get the proper document for the next thing. There has to be a better way.
There could be a more central data hub for all of that. The computer security guy in me says that is way, way, way beyond a terrible idea.
