One moment later...

Dr.: Scratch that. It appears Bob expired (died) an hour ago.

Me: so I'm removing the appointment, thank you sir.

Another moment later....

Dr.: Actually that was false. That was the patient above Bob.

Me: Bob is alive?

Dr. Yes. Bob is alive.

Me: I'll call and congratulate him sir.
