Ahou Daryaei, a young Iranian student, went to her university on what seemed like an ordinary day. She was wearing the required hijab, but the university's security believed her hijab wasn't good enough, and tried to forcefully drag her to a room. She resisted, and during the struggle, her clothes was torn apart.

Ahou was angry, and as an act of protest, she took off the rest of her clothes down to her underwear, threw them in the face of security forces, and walked in the university like that until she was arrested.

I don't know exactly what happened after that, but some sources are saying she was forcefully taken to a mental hospital.

Of course, she is not out of her mind or anything like that. She was desperate, so she bravely did what she could as a protest. The public opinion in Iran (evident even from likes and comments on legal news sites) largely supports her.

I fantasized about doing what she did for years, but she had the courage to actually do it!

What she did, even if we don't agree with it, was very brave. She did what she could in face of oppression. It was not a death wish which drove her, but the love she had for life brought her to the conclusion that even a desperate attempt to resist is better than becoming a walking corpse.
