So I’m not married but long term live in relationship. His health has not only caused ED but total and complete lack of libido at only 57 years old. I’m not even 50 yet. Sorry to hear about your situation ... Sadly health issues are often at the heart of any loss of sexual feelings and it's not something we can do anything about other than be patient, reassuring and caring.

I do hope you find a way to solve your problem without necessarily affecting your relationship ... there are guys on here who would happily offer to help with an online relationship (or more if their location allows - sadly I'm a very long way away and relocating to another continent is perhaps not feasible!)

Wife's 60th birthday a few days ago so treated her to a few days out, nice meals etc. which she thoroughly enjoyed, along with the offer of a few, more personal treats (in the nicest possible way of course) but every suggestion sadly declined She had a birthday card from an older religious & rather naive friend (who is actually very attractive with a cracking figure), which said on the front 'Swinging at 60', to which my immediate verbal response with a smile on my face was 'if only my dear, if only!' A few years after our second child was born we try toys, lingerie, etc but after a long day he usually pass out or done in couple minutes.

Twenty years later and a few years ago he had a health issue and it made it worst. But at least he realize what he been missing/forgetting whatever you want to call it.

Unless you know for sure, don't rule out your l-t 'thing' didn't get sick. I had l-t friend, move a couple hrs away, to be close to family and she eventually ghosted me. After several months her daughter-in-law, told me that my friend was suffering with dementia. She eventually passed during the year of Covid.

I'm on the male side of your situation although we are both 60.
Menopause & health issues killed her sex drive, nothing in 3 years but it would help having a Lit relationship.

Yep. Same situation over this way. Husband has t been intimate (not even hugs or kisses) for a bit over six years when he told me he’s now asexual.

I’ll go with others and say that while I abstained and behaved for six years... not so good a behavior as of this year. I have needs and not ready to live a life without sex.

I may be reading your comment incorrectly but if you have sought sex outside the marriage that is normally considered cheating BUT !!! if your husband hasn't been intimate, even hugs or kisses for over six years, you are a saint for waiting that long and I would consider it justifiable. what is wrong with men ? if for some reason they lose interest for whatever reason, they should realize you haven't !!!...I know if it was me, i would make an effort to try and fill your needs with alternative methods such as vibrators, dildos and oral sex just to keep you from looking outside the marriage and possibly keep you loyal and somewhat satisfied, it may not be the real thing but it would be something for you to hang on to and work with.
