Just to be clear, for those arguing either way - the feds weren't objecting to the purge itself, but instead were objecting to the timing of the purge, which violated federal law.

You have to have an ID to do ANYTHING in the US. Voting should be no exception. That your side fights so hard to say it’s not an issue as you allude, says everything. Voter fraud is real. There are eligible voters that have already come forward to say that they were included in the list. (Hence the word "suspected" being included in your article)

Removing voters from voter rolls within 90 days violates the law. I am against states violating that law. I have no issue with states removing intelligible voters from their voter rolls.

1,600 were found to have AT SOME TIME previously (often many, many years ago) identified as non-citizens when applying for drivers licenses, NOT illegal aliens. Many of them had since become citizens, and the voter-purge STILL wiped away the right to vote for 45 of them, even though proof of ID had been provided—in one man's case, 5 TIMES!
