The house was just valued less, so I didn't have to pay him as much for my half of it. I do get very little alimony.

Awww! Thank you, Wat! I did sell the boat once, then bought it back when the guy moved off the lake. I thought he was a friend, but OMG, did he and his family trash that boat! I would have never bought it back from him if I'd known what shape it was in. He'd had it wrapped and basically dropped it off, took my check, and skedaddle.

I do love this boat. I like taking it out on full moon nights for pictures.

Mouse droppings INSIDE the vehicle is never a good sign!

My husband wanted more real estate for his desk than the desk he was using. He took the top off and put an oak door stained the same as the oak desk onto the drawer pillars. It's a nice, big desk top! It's now my nail station.

We only have 1/3 acre; some of that is gardens and greenbelt. I know I can mow. The lawnmower is the ripcord pull type. My friend who lives two houses from me (also a widow) does her own mowing. She has an electric mower. That might make better sense for me. Then I wouldn't have to deal with gas or oil for the mower. I'd just have to make sure not to run over the cord.

It's so annoying to have to change computers! I just want everything to work as it did on the old one, only better!

You can def do the lawn!! Sometimes those electric ones make sense. And they make newer ones w batteries now. (Not sure how good they are tho….)

I need a new laptop and I’m putting it off. Old one is really slow, esp the browser. I really do most things on my phone now so wondering if I really need one…

Truth is more like, it's possible that he might get a wee fishing boat when he moves Out West because the lake is nearby. But that might presume that he takes up fishing. Fishing hasn't happened in decades.

A friend has a battery mower. Remember to size it for the lawn. It is less messy than gas powered.

Even though we've been together since I was 20, we were only married for less than 20 years. I would like to take half the blame on this one. I can't seem to regret it because of my awesome kid. I will get there. I just need to overcome and power through

Me, during menopause! My husband would complain about being cold. I told him he had choices. He could put on another blanket, turn on the electric blanket already on the bed, or sleep elsewhere. I could not take anything else off. If I could have unzipped my skin and put it in the freezer, I would have!
