The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I completely understand where you are coming from. It's like the tests have come out of the woodwork. I won't get into my list that is quite similar on a different aspect, but overwhelmed is the common denominator. The one driving me the most nuts is garbage disposal. I'm down to one side of my sink and the nasty filler in the other one that rises and falls occasionally is  disgustingly gross. I still have to fix all the holes in the walls that the POS graciously placed and the shower tiles that he dented in. Let alone all the damn clutter that needs to go. I have found a place that would give me a dumpster for $450 for 15 days. I think I found my summer plan.

It's like all at once I see everything and then I want to fix it right now, but it's not possible.
I hear you, girl! It just feels like a lot sometimes. You will get through it one task at a time.

Is POS paying you alimony? If not, try to figure out how to get him to pay for the damage he left you. Maybe your attorney can help? 🫂🫂

Ahhh the joy.

Try to mow..if you hate it hire somebody else.....it is good exercise and you may enjoy it...

"Just drop it"...hahahahahaha

And computers...they SUCK

Big hugs for our sweet L
We only have 1/3 acre; some of that is gardens and greenbelt. I know I can mow. The lawnmower is the ripcord pull type. My friend who lives two houses from me (also a widow) does her own mowing. She has an electric mower. That might make better sense for me. Then I wouldn't have to deal with gas or oil for the mower. I'd just have to make sure not to run over the cord. 🙄

It's so annoying to have to change computers! I just want everything to work as it did on the old one, only better! 😂😂

I dumped my thoughts. It was on my mind last night and then I saw Lil's post and I could relate. I'm in a rut. I'm leaving it instead of starting it. I need to get my ass out of my hole. I have classes and certifications that have priority, so it still has to be put on the back burner.
Try not to stress, sweetie! We're all going through something! We WILL get through it! 🫂🫂

Do you have a trickle charger to keep the battery charged? Is the boat a hardtop or canvas? I always had problems with water getting in. I finally sorted it inside.
The battery is currently living on the workbench in the garage. Right next to his girlfriend, the prop. I have a trickle charger that I can use a week or so before the boat goes back in the water in the spring.

It's an open 24 ft pontoon boat with a canvas bimi top. The bimi top is off and stored in the storage room with all the rest of the stuff out of the boat. I have an all-weather canvas cover for the entire playpen. The boat is too large to get into my garage. I'd rather have my vehicles in there anyway.

I have a 4 inch stack of customer compliments over the years..... but when you r dealing with morally emotionally and physically demanding things every day you learn to compartmentalize and develop a sort of warped sense of humor...or you will go mad....

Many times nurses are treated like slaves and most patients don't care what your name is...they were prob surprised because you treated them nicely....sort of sad 😥
The really sad part is that the ER nurses probably have it the worst. You guys have to take all comers; there's a lot more abuse towards staff there. 🥺

I was in bad shape for awhile. Feeding tube, breathing tube etc. after throat surgery. I did have a private room at Penn in Philly, because the surgeon was a friend of a relative, so maybe that helped. I was on a morphine drip and also fentanyl when needed. The worst thing was the thirst and I could not drink or take ice or anything. They would spray my mouth if i buzzed and always seemed to say the right words because I was miserable for a week. Then as I got better they helped me get around when I could get out of bed. I don't know, they were so very kind IMHO.
I'm so glad you got good care!

Productive day.

Ran a lot of errands all morning. Did some joyriding w the wife on way home and looked at foliage sourland mountain. Leaves def are past peak: much darker and browner but nice to look at nevertheless.

Got to our farm around 1. Split firewood for a few hours, helped my wife water some trees we planted and had fun taking down invasive autum and Russian olive trees. We started by using chainsaw and gas powered hedge trimmers.

But we optimized out destruction of those invasive bastards.

I had a heavy gauge cable w two hooks on either end. I made loops and put one end around the base of the tree and the other end around the trailer ball of our side by side. I gunned it and ripped em right out by the roots!

Was fun and very effective. Plus I like destroying things, so win win win.

Pulled out about 20 of those motherfuckers.

Sounds like a fun kind of busy!

Every time I see this, I wanna raise my hand!
LoL..

Me, during menopause! My husband would complain about being cold. I told him he had choices. He could put on another blanket, turn on the electric blanket already on the bed, or sleep elsewhere. I could not take anything else off. If I could have unzipped my skin and put it in the freezer, I would have!
