Well, that didn't go well.

"It wasn’t a good look for Fox, and a gift to Harris who got to play tough in Trump’s media backyard and lean into her rival’s mental decline."

Harris did with Fox News what Trump can't do anywhere: Handle tough questions

Trump, by comparison, has cancelled a planned CNBC interview and refused to follow Harris' lead and go on '60 Minutes

Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris went into America’s Den of Misinformation – Fox News – for a Wednesday night interview that demonstrated two things:
  1. She has far more guts than her opponent, Donald Trump.
  2. Fox News remains an arm of the Republican Party.
For starters, Harris deserves credit for doing an interview she and her campaign had to know would be a string of “gotcha” questions and attempts to get her to say mean things about Trump supporters, a la Hillary Clinton’s infamous-but-accurate “basket of deplorables.”

Trump, by comparison, has cancelled a planned CNBC interview and refused to follow Harris’ lead and go on “60 Minutes,” preferring to do things like his Wednesday’s Fox News town hall where he was asked coddling questions before a room full of Trump supporters.

Kamala Harris vs. Fox News: ‘She totally schooled Bret Baier’ | Reaction

Here’s the reaction:

Former Republican Congressman and Jan. 6 Committee member Adam Kinzinger: “She went into the lion’s den and took them on and stood tall. Fox tried their bs gotchas in their rightwing reality, and she turned everything deftly back to Trump and held him accountable in his own safe space. She did not let them bait her at all - strong, confident, epic. She totally schooled Bret Baier.”

Lincoln Project founder Rick Wilson: “Kamala came to Fox to stack bodies.”

Former Sen. Claire McCaskill: “If anyone is trying to figure out who is stronger, Kamala is going on Fox News. And even the MAGA folks know he would never ever ever be brave enough to do an interview on MSNBC.”

Even Fox News host Dana Perino admitted that Harris was “fairly effective” when she was getting her points across about Trump. Fox colleague Brit Hume said Harris was “combative and energetic and she certainly landed some blows on Donald Trump.”

The right audience. The double haters got to see her. Whether she did enough to win their vote remains to be seen.

Any cheerleaders for or against her are already decided and not what this was meant for.

We'll see in the polls next week.

Of course, it was all the audiences fault. You ignorant fuck.

She knew she wasn’t on there to make friends. Anyone working for Fox News is a traitor to America, so she was never going to get a favorable interview. Go on there, rip them up, and show how weak the trump-worshippers are.

Playing tough? She lost her cool, multiple times🤣. Not a good look. Although I give her props for Finally doing a serious interview.

She couldn’t explain her “plan”, but went on ad nauseam about a plan. Brett kept looking at her handlers as they only allowed 20-30 mins, and she was 15mins late.

If you’re running for president, you better be damn well prepared to cover your bases (her other interviews) and be able to explain your flip flops. She didn’t clear that bar.

Women shouldn't raise their voices or be argumentative with the man

I was disappointed in the interview until he asked her about Biden’s competency and ‘when/how long she knew he was incompetent’. I thought that she was in a position of strength until that point…. But that’s where she fell apart.
