Kamala Harris Now Leads Donald Trump Among Every Generation: Poll​

Kamala Harris is now in the lead among Generation X, Generation Z, millennials, baby boomers and the silent/greatest generations in a new poll.

With less than three weeks until the presidential election on November 5, attention is on what the polls are saying. In general, there are incredibly tight, marginal leads on either side, suggesting a neck-and-neck race.

But a new Marist poll shows Harris enjoying the lead among every generation surveyed between October 8 and 10.

Some 53 percent of Generation Zs (people born between 1997 and 2012) and millennials (born between 1981 and 1996) said they supported Harris, over 47 percent who said they supported Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, Harris enjoyed a 55 percent lead among baby boomers (born between 1946 and 1964) and the silent/greatest generation (born between 1901 and 1927), over Trump's 45 percent.

Curious about the Z/Millenial numbers. They are out of step with every other poll for those generations. ie most polls have Z at upwards of 70%+ for Harris.

In the poll before this one, where independents were questioned between September 3 and 15, Republicans were in the lead with 50 percent while 45 percent leaned toward Democrats.

Independent voters often decide these close elections, so this is interesting to see. My guess is that independent voters, who are among the least likely to vote by all accounts, have been motivated at least partly by abortion rights. I could wrong about that, but again as I have said before, this is the first Presidential election since Dobbs. If, for instance, there is a higher turnout than expected in states like Arizona, where a lot of women vote in droves and have tilted a number of contests in the past (Matt Salmon could tell you how about he was defeated by Janet Napolitano for Governor in 2002 due to suburban women who usually voted Republican), it could make a massive difference. Arizona is just one example, but it's one with which I am personally familiar, having lived there so much. Kari Lake is losing badly to Ruben Gallego at present, and I would be hard-pressed to imagine the psyche of a Trump/Gallego voter. It might happen, but it would have to be a very small slice of the electorate.

Admittedly, Kari Lake looks so much like an archetypal Karen that it's insane, so that could be a factor working against her, too.

They have to be dumber than DonOld to be fooled by his lies, and they have to be just as bad or worse when it comes to morality for tolerating (cheering?) DonOld’s racist and sexist words and actions. So, overall, I would say they are easily as awful as he is.

In this modern age of information, there is zero excuse for someone to be uninformed. (trustworthy and accurate sources of information are available and are identified as such.) And DonOld doesn’t even hide his depravit

we've had a thread dealing with all of the Biden-Harris achievements, and there were plenty. I honestly don't have the willingness to dive in and look for it right now or spend the time citing the long long list; what i will say is that if you don't know about them then, perhaps, you haven't been exposed to enough truth as reported by a broad set of media sources.
