While I support this wholeheartedly, I've always had a nagging question


Why is it chilli con carne? Chilli with meat.
Wouldn't it be chilli con frijoles?
hmm, im not sure, obviously chili con carne is the mexican dish and though texmex is closely related, i think texas red (or chili without beans) is different and just adopted by texans as how we do chili. ive never deep dived the reasons why, haha. its funny how chili is different in different places in the country.
