Trying to stay systemic rather than specific as well.

You can't fix this from the top down. It needs to be from the bottom up. Third parties need to take root in local and state elections before they'll ever stand a chance of infiltrating federal spheres.

It can be done though. I'm still an optimistic believer (and I spend far too much time in DC with feds ... )

Specifically, I'm optimistic that the lasagna I'm going to make for dinner tonight will be delicious. Even with the necessary cheeses (but also with a whole lot of meat in there to drown out the cheese flavor).

Gravy is a topping and cranberries are a side dish. Gravy goes on the turkey (and the potatoes and stuffing) and cranberries are next to them on the plate. Both are necessary.

It's nice to see Canadians still observing Thanksgiving. Around here it's Fourth of July - not Indepence Day like we aren't independent on the 3rd or 5th then Halloween for 3 months then Christmas until July then repeat.
