I am generally very comfortable striking up a simple conversation. Sure there’s a fine line between friendly or creepy but often this is perception which I can’t control so as I’ve gotten older I’m much more willing to shoot my shot so to speak.

What a coincidence! I did the same thing just yesterday. I saw a very handsome older man taking a seat across the aisle on the same train. I stared at him, caught his eyes, and merely smiled. He responded by saying, “thank God it’s Friday” and that’s how it started. It’s was brief and friendly. I know he was married based on the ring I saw on his finger but that doesn’t deter me from talking to someone I think might be interesting. That’s how majority of my sexual relationships have started.

I am not attracted to older guys just because they are older, but I do like the ones that are mature and confident. Maturity and confidence in a guy is hard to find in my age group. I disagree.

I'm 62, currently have 2 lovers 20 years younger than me, recently one 30 years younger and one young lady I see from time to time is 22, 40 years younger than me.

I'm very self confident and make no secret of it if I find a younger woman attractive (not in a creepy way). A lot of women see me as harmless, but enough others are interested in a silver fox (or I would be if I didn't shave my head!).

I always thought it was a fairly common interest until I shared it with other girls and got very concerned looks. I can find young guys “nice” or whatever but am exclusively attracted to significantly older men. It’s pretty much a pre-req if I were to have a relationship because it’s the only thing that gets me going- I can’t even picture a fulfilling heterosexual relationship with a same age couple (for myself.)
Not sure why but I have always been this way and decided to accept it instead of feeling ashamed and trying to pray it out of me LOL. I looooove traditional masculinity and fear we are seeing less and less of it in the milennial/Gen Z males… I always end up crushing on Gen X guys instead.
Mid-40s is about as beautiful as they come.
It’s definitely multi-layered with me, I guess, I don’t like guys because they’re old, but them being older somehow makes them far more attractive to me… guys my own age are like nondescript, irrelevant entities I don’t even perceive as “male” because they do nothing for me in terms of attraction. Confidence, assuredness, wisdom, and just the Daddy type body language is the way to my heart… don’t personally care for super shy or nervous/feminine guys, I like assertion and natural dominance, someone who isn’t “politically correct,” an older guy who makes eye contact with me, who looks at me over his sunglasses when I’m crossing the street, who wouldn’t feel pervy or immoral to have a young little thing on his arm, who is proud of it instead. Sigh. Clearly this is my favorite subject but I’ll stop here so I don’t type a whole novel ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I am curious is it the whole dominance thing? The I treat you like a toy, or is it the confidence mind that younger women like?

I would not mind a younger woman, but I am a man that will treat with respect, not dominance i will lead my house, but not dictate it.
