I had a sweet Cuban neighbor who loved to feed me (and my eyes!!) with croquetas and cafe bustelo on the stovetop....I developed quite a taste for all three

Fun fact that no one gives a shit about: espresso isn't some kind of fancy coffee bean. It's just regular coffee beans that are ground down extra fine to get more of the essence out of them when brewed. And the espresso machines just use pressurized, superheated steam/water for the same effect. Espresso is just regular, but super super strong coffee. I can make the same stuff with my Mr. Coffee by just doubling the amount of grounds.

Also, when something boasts about being 100% Arabica beans, those are the only kind of beans sold in the industrialized world, so it really isn't anything special. There's only one other species of coffee grown in the world, and it's so awful, it's only sold in third world countries.

Jamaica 1993, I took a day long break from teaching kids and may or may not have strayed from the tour through blue mountain coffee plantation country.....I was so fascinated by the berries until a warning shot let me know I was not welcome off the road. Lol. Had roasted beans right there in the sun by the bus and was ruined for swill afterward.

I feel very encouraged that a post with a space for Littles became visible at the exact right moment.

I had an incident today that left me Littling. I’m now in a good place about it, having sorted out what I did wrong to put myself in danger. And decided there wasn’t danger today but in the future I have to be more vigilant.

At one point while I was obsessing over things, I actually thought, “I’m glad I don’t have a Daddy to have to hide this from.” But that brought back memories of a time when I had made a mistake, tried to hide it from Daddy, only to learn he wasn’t upset at all about my bad choice but was very concerned that I had wanted to conceal something from him.

Anyway, this was just something rolling around my mind today.

I had an incident today that left me Littling. I’m now in a good place about it, having sorted out what I did wrong to put myself in danger. And decided there wasn’t danger today but in the future I have to be more vigilant.

At one point while I was obsessing over things, I actually thought, “I’m glad I don’t have a Daddy to have to hide this from.” But that brought back memories of a time when I had made a mistake, tried to hide it from Daddy, only to learn he wasn’t upset at all about my bad choice but was very concerned that I had wanted to conceal something from him.

Anyway, this was just something rolling around my mind today.

Guys...I really don't like this job.

I know, I know, most people don't like their jobs, so I really have no right to complain. But I sorta feel like I was hired under false pretenses, and I don't like it at all.

You see, I'm having to handle emergency calls. Not a fan of this. Nobody told me when I was hired that's that what it would be, or I probably never would have accepted the job to start with. It's nerve-wracking, and the people are either rude or don't listen to what you say. And there are cameras everywhere. Seems like a lot of bullshit for a measly $12/hr.

I wish I had a part-time job instead. 20-25 hours a week, in the evenings, and then let me continue to write for other people and do pso as well.

I feel bad, like I have no right to feel this way. But I do. I think I'm gonna start looking for something else.

There are actually several jobs on Indeed that I'm qualified for. I got half a mind to call in sick tomorrow and spend the day writing cover letters.
