You can rest assured they have been all along. The Lebanese Army, while outnumbering Hezbollah, has until recently been outgunned and not as well trained. Even so they were still too closely matched. Let the Israeli's use their air power and superior weaponry to atrit Hezbollah then set up a classic Hammer and Anvil envelopment or something similar.
