Just picking up on the James Bond discussion ....

Niceguy: I hadn't heard of Rod Taylor so looked up the site you recommended. He certainly looked the part, will have a look at some clips of his as he does sound like someone worth watching. I'll be very interested to see who they pick for the next James Bond. My vote would be for James Norton or Henry Cavill, I think they'd both be great.

Richard have you seen ‘The Old Man’ tv series with Jeff Bridges & John Lithgow? It’s new. It’s kind of Bond without Bond. Great performances. ps Also a big Tim Dalton fan. Licence To Kill so underrated.

But of course it can work!!! When you are "on the bridge" I never have any doubts!!! After all, no other woman has the same ability as you to make people stand up. I remember, when I was young, I went crazy for Brigitte Bardot and then for Catherine Deneuve and while for the first I admired her happiness in always showing herself transgressive, for Catherine I was crazy about her elegance but at the same time her great femininity. The url starts with the word private. the visible ones all start with public. Just an observation, maybe somewhere along the line you have made them private.

.......no, I haven't but will look it up. We both think Timothy Dalton made a very good Bond.

That was the hype, but the whole thing seems to have died a natural death. Don't think he had much success with his dinosaur park either....maybe the ship went the same way as them!👋

What a great set of pictures, not just because they feature the very attractive Vanessa, but also for the historical background. Are the buildings original? Or have they been preserved and moved there. There is a place near me called “ The Weald and Downland Living Museum “ where rescued houses and buildings of historical importance have been meticulously rebuilt and restored. These buildings are saved from development sites all over the south, deconstructed and moved to the museum, where a village of days gone by has been built. One can walk back through time and get a flavour of what life was like for ordinary people, and see old skills and techniques demonstrated. Fascinating place to visit, makes one realise how easy we have it today, and question could we have survived back then.
