If I can add a belated comment to your posts about Bond actors....
I have read that at one time, Aussie Rod Taylor was considered (probably for OHMSS).
He would have been great...he could do action (see Dark of the Sun), weird stuff (The Birds), sensitive romance (Fate is the Hunter), romantic comedy (2-3 Doris Day films).
I also enjoyed him in the TV series "Bearcats!".
He could have brought a sensible light heartedness to the franchise before Roger Moore.

Worked straight away no problem. I love this one, I like the little comments in videos we catch now and then that show a great relationship.
