Truthfully, it is better than before, so there's that. And the bit of damage had caused the inner fender to begin to rub the tires, and now that's fixed, too. So I'll just shut up about it then.

I was up till after 2 last night and popped awake at 6 this morning. I feel like I slept good though. Probably because I fell asleep yesterday after I got home from dropping the kid off and slept till 9

Well I qm enjoying my sunday..... what is everyone doing?

I watered plants, took my girl on some walkies, and got some minor things done.

I've started a "Shit To Do" list on my phone. Seems I can't keep things in my head very well now. I do feel VERY productive when I can cross something off my list.

Took the wife shoe shopping. I believe I deserve sainthood for that. I've filled up my karma coffer for the week.

I'm more than willing to accept a care package of scones for a proper taste test challenge.

I grate cold (real) butter into my scones when making them. It makes them very flaky and melt-in-your-mouth.

You'll have to see if @Greylag can send you some authentic Scottish scones. He lives there.

Howdy all. This is a nice thread with nice folks but man it takes a while to catch up. Did church and some errands. Might go golfing this afternoon. Need to do some prep for school. Clearly not doing any of it now as I am here. Ha ha. Hope you all are enjoying your Sundays

Cut the west 40. Put all the machines and trailers-n-crap away. The horses got out of their fly masks because the rain chased them away. Flies - horses are hanging out in the barn. Put the new license plate on the trailer. The old bracket broke off and it got lost, so the new one is bolted to the expanded metal mesh on the tailgate. It's not under the light at night, but it's reflective and it'll stay put. Put some clothes away. Made 3-egg omelettes for the landlady and me for brunch. Worked in a nap and visited with Daisy the very large brown Lab girlie. The landlady went to work. She takes care of old people and her 104YO client is in the hospital, and there is talk that this could be the last hurrah. She was born when Calvin Coolidge was president.

Went out for our 5:19 gathering. I don't usually make it because of getting up early. Ended up with an extra kid for the night We ate Brisket Chili cornbread and tortilla chip. It was the best chili I've ever eaten. Something in it irritated my allergies though. My nose instantly was stopped up and I had a headache for a few hours after. So weird.

Oh, no! No more of that chili for you!

Whenever I hear Fred the dog (which I don’t really hear all that often), I am reminded of Cletus Snow’s (Jerry Reed) dog? Fred in Smokey and the Bandit.

Man, Waxahatchee is such a good band. The singer has an amazing voice, the guitars all had that Grand Canyon echo and reverb. We got up close and there was a nice breeze coming off the beach.

Just a great night. Fantastic dinner. Met some great people. Good music. Watched the end of the tennis match w a few people in the hotel lobby…
