Went out for our 5:19 gathering. I don't usually make it because of getting up early. Ended up with an extra kid for the night :) We ate Brisket Chili cornbread and tortilla chip. It was the best chili I've ever eaten. Something in it irritated my allergies though. My nose instantly was stopped up and I had a headache for a few hours after. So weird.
 
Man, Waxahatchee is such a good band. The singer has an amazing voice, the guitars all had that Grand Canyon echo and reverb. We got up close and there was a nice breeze coming off the beach.

Just a great night. Fantastic dinner. Met some great people. Good music. Watched the end of the tennis match w a few people in the hotel lobby…

I tried to catch up last night but fell asleep while I was at it. 🙄 I'm trying to start early tonight.

And yes, @Wonderer67 is wise! We all need to give ourselves some grace now and then.

I woke up at nine thinking it was morning, got a cup of coffee and then realized it's evening. I must have been tired! I don't like crashing during the day for this reason!!

I also missed out on a crab/shrimp boil because of it! Not happy at all :(
