.......apart from a spotlight, nothing else. From memory, the pics are as they came out of the camera. If a photo wasn't right, we'd just take another. In a studio/bedroom type situation there is no real time pressure. There are times when I use a software programme for a special effect or correction, but it's generally quite obvious. If I see a particular situation or pose 'in the moment' but the lighting, usually outside, or some other thing isn't quite right, I'll take it and adjust it later. I often shoot in RAW. If it's not possible to recover it without massive intervention.....then it goes in the trash. Endless patience is not one of my few virtues. There's only so much I'll adjust, or it's not a true photo.

Thanks Richard. Your bedroom/home shots always look particularly well lit. And you're right - no time pressure is the key. Thanks again for the advice!
