We got hammered with suicidal ideation but not homicidal. So when I asked the psych jokingly, "doesn't everyone want to strangle their boss?". That boy didn't even smile. He just slowly shook his head no.

When I was working, I considered trying to take the bus. First, I would have to drive to a Park-N-Ride as there are no busses that come to our neighborhood. Then, I would have to change busses no less than 3 times. It would take me 3 hours to get to work! I noped out of that pretty quickly.

same - but I gave it a try first. missed connection & was stranded miles from home for @ 4 hours until a sibling was free to come get me. Did not enjoy that adventure much.

I think it's because there are fewer stimuli at night. Your cortisol level goes down. Few distractions from the pain.

I'm so sorry, sweetie! Try to stay ahead of it. Perhaps take some pain meds before you go to sleep, even if you aren't in pain yet. Once you wake with pain, it's at a higher level and it takes longer for it to come down. It's much easier to treat the pain on the way up than try to treat at the peak.

yeah - it's a dance all right
my options are limited & cold packs tend to work better than the meds
instead of the anticipated 9.5 hours i managed a very choppy almost 1 hour

I want to put in some rewards...not food based.... for milestones...ultimate goal prize is a trip to Europe (here i come grey)..... I also want a comfort sweatshirt. They are weighted and cozy..... Can't think of any me gifts... ? Mani pedi? What are some things you all like?

Hun, we all have our faults, bruises, blemishes. We all want to change something about ourselves. And that's ok to do as long as it's a positive. But think of it this way you're doing something for you, and you should for your health and well being. And I for one and I'm sure everyone here supports you %. Yeah. The first week is the worst. I am trying to not be to restrictive. I am not hungry and sure the hell not thirsty with the water I drink. I pee all the time. When I hit goal I will share my before and after with the trusted group.... or maybe just the silhouette

Great job! For rewards. Maybe a massage spa day besides hair a mani pedi. A new book? Some nice headphones/ear buds? Do you collect anything? Save up a bit to add to your collection.
