Am always thinking of new ways to fiddle about with photos. There were one or two occasions in the past where we linked a slideshow, however the quality wasn't great and that idea fell by the wayside.
Recently, I've been researching a better way to do slideshows. What I've come up with is a combination of three separate programmes/processes and the result seems to be okay. Firstly, the photos had to be converted to a SS then rendered and exported. Finally, and most importantly, was the hosting site for the SS; I tried a few different places but the quality was shot to shit.

In the end I revisited Dropbox...have used it here and there very occasionally but now it seems vastly improved. The SS and other things like vids and gifs reproduce well or at least to me they seem to. Anyway, we'll give it a go.....

I should add that these photos were taken as far back as 2007 I think, they would have been some of the first outdoor pics we'd taken.

The camera would've only had a small sensor. The lighting by the river was only adequate.

The diamond pythons such as the one in the photos are very good residents, they keep the mice/rats down; saw one crush and eat a smallish rabbit one morning.

The "pointy" heads that you refer to....not so good. I've stepped on black snakes (not by choice) and they either haven't moved or they've taken off. Brown snakes, copper heads and tiger snakes, to mention a few that have frequented our yards from time to time, I prefer to have absolutely nothing to do with. Have been chased by a tiger [snake] years ago when I could run like hell; it wasn't much fun. Now, it would catch me in the first five meters!

Then there are the red backs, funnel web spiders, and the list goes on.............. Just about all the unpleasant things will leave you alone so long as you don't surprise or disturb them.
