You two are the main reason I keep coming back to LIT. Always classy, beautiful and just the right level of eroticism. The connection that exists between Vanessa as the model and Richard as the cameraman is clear in all of your shots and while that relationship makes it look easy I do know that a lot of thought and preparation goes into many of these shots. Selecting wardrobe, location and lighting for a planned shoot or just recognizing an opportunity and seizing the moment when it arises. Both circumstances still rely on that ability of model and camerman being on the same wavelength to achieve these great results. You both deserve all of the praise you receive and more.
Thinking along these lines makes me wonder if either of you had any other experiences experiences that helped you along your photographic path. Vanessa, have you posed for anyone else? An art class perhaps? Similarly with Richard I wonder whether you have had the opportunity to work with other models to help hone your craft? Are you self taught or have you taken classes or been a member of a photography club? Whatever, the path that got the two of you here I hope that you are only midway on your journey and that you enjoy this hobby for many years to come.

My mother was a professional photographer and was a keen black and white artistic photographer as a hobby. I was her favourite subject as a child. She did mostly candid shots so I learnt early on to try to ignore the camera and I also learnt some of the technicalities as she did everything manually including using a light meter and also developing film and printing photos. That gave me a real appreciation of black and white tones, lighting etc, so perhaps I'm subconsciously aware of which way to turn, where to stand, that sort of thing. As for posing I used to love looking at her photographic magazines, and continued to admire good photography as an adult, so I guess that's all fed into the hobby. Sometimes I can help Richard with the camera settings, but he knows far more about that than I do. Thank you for your interest, and you're right that it often does take thought to work out all the details of a shoot so it's nice to know that's appreciated.
