Biden has held 62 press conferences compared to 254 by Trump and 200+ by Obama at this time in their presidencies. The reason why is obvious. Biden isn’t mentally nimble enough to answer unscripted questions.

Your figures count the number of "interviews" convicted felon Donald Trump had, usually phone calls in to sympathetic Fox News programs during his 7-11 a.m. "executive time" in the mornings.
The few in-person "press conferences" he had were basically photo-ops with visiting dignitaries and seldom took more than 3 or 4 questions.
In any event, the press conference is increasingly a relic of a different age, given the 24-hour news cycle and the ability of psychotic presidents to rage against clouds on Twitter.
