The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I have general distrust in people, so finding a therapist will be hard... I think I would be perfectly happy being a hermit then I get so mad that I am alone and not living. I have things 8 would love to do, but other "stuff" including my weight, etc. Prevent me from doing it. So I isolate myself and it makes me so mad
I had to force myself to get out. That way people stop worrying. I'm a bit of a hermit since all the crap went down here. I'm happiest at home right now. My memories are far and few here which is odd because it's our house. When I go out and am around people I start to think about everything that has happened or I see happy couples and get mad lol. All and all for right now, I just want to be here and not there.

If I can give any advise to you, it would be to say yes every 4 times someone asks you to do something and then start making it every 3 and so on. Thats kind of how I did it.

Half of my yard looks like the beach. Our crazy unbalanced neighbor accused us of poisoning her with our sprinklers because it is sulfur water and I guess never smelled it before. We adjusted to the sprinklers as best as possible ran them at 1 am and she came pounding on the door yelling at us to turn them off. We just stopped running them rather than cause a ruckus.

We've had so much rain recently my beach is getting smaller. :giggle:
What’s the deal w crazy neighbors?!

Sorry you had to go thru that. Jeez!!

I have suspected ADHD and suffer depression. I get this, I hate me because I annoy the fuck out of me. My brain scrambles so quickly.

I've got worse since I found I may have adhd, too.

I suffer PTSD, and this worsens at time of stress.

The unfortunate thing is I can go into lock down, and watch loads of TV and not go out because my brain can't cope.

I'm surprised my girlfriend is still with me and the friends I have all have known me for years and are used to me.

It is exhausting.
She and your friends are still with you cuz you’re awesome!!!

Don’t forget that!

Okay, so the new truck broke on the way here, Out West. It's at the shop awaiting parts - week after next. Then it gets fixed. Fuck it, I'll take the landlady's truck Back East so I can start New Job on the 12th. Her car's back brakes started making noises like they want to be replaced. Okay. The shop can't take it until next Wednesday. It ain't that tough, so it's moved up to tomorrow's agenda. Hadn't planned to, but Life ain't about making plans, it's about making adjustments.

While cutting grass yesterday, I took and extra swipe into the overgrowth and found 2 stumps cut off at about 30". Couldn't see them, hit them, and turtled the tractor. It was late, fuck it, it spent the night over there. We had errands today, so we got over there about 5. Took the chain saw and cut off the stumps at ground level. It was a touch wet, and I had to reangle the machine once it was mobile and found something firm enough to come out. It did. So I finished up that area in the woods and made a swath down the roads so the place looks neat and presentable.

We got a stray dog overnight in the horse barn. Cringing in the corner, terrified. Wouldn't move out. We got animal control over this afternoon and they collected her. She will go to some adoption arrangement, the women told me. Otherwise, the dogs are fine, the goats are fine, the horses are fine, and the cats seem fine, too. TDK has a lovely high place to sleep. On my range bag.

And I haven't shot a damned thing. Yet . . . .

Hmm, ever consider trying a Rage Room (aka Break Room or Smash Room)? If you have the space, you could do a home version. Just avoid smashing stuff with mercury or other dangerous elements. And maybe let your neighbors know so you don't get swatted thinking it's Home Invasion Night at Miss K's place 🤷‍♀️ Don't have stuff around your house to smash? Thrift stores are great resources. Always wear safety glasses. Smashing a bunch of bottles, jars, glasses, plates - can be very cathartic. Plan out the clean up before you start smashing - those little shards of glass can travel and they get everywhere.
Catharsis. Also how we get the seeds for the upcoming year…

You’re not alone.

Just know that. Life is not always easy. In fact sometimes it’s quite difficult and what’s between our two ears gets in the way.

I struggle with depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

There are a lot of ways to deal with these things that don’t involve therapy and/or pharmaceuticals.

I’m sorry you’re struggling so much right now and if there’s anything I can do to help, just DM me. 🫂🫂🫂
Yeah.... I will get it together ❤ I am the author of my life story..... I just need to buckle down and fix it.....

Well water. Her words "How would you like it if I threw poison on your little girl!" She was damn lucky that she said it to my husband and not me. I would have gone Loco on her.

It's been several years now. I have to fix all of my sprinklers.

Our power just went out :cautious: Edited (It came back on a little after 7, so it was only for a half hour)
Glad your powers back.

That’s no fun! Exp in Fl where you need ac! Do you have a generator?

(It’s a must have where we live)

Well damn. High grass is as treacherous as high water...

Glad tdk is relaxing and taking it all in.

I feel bad for that little dog. I hate to see animals scared or hurt

Wow. Sounds like a crazy week. Glad you were able to free the tractor get everything un-fucked.

That poor dog. Glad it will get a home and care tho!!

You’ll get out there shooting soon. I think I will this weekend.

What’s the deal w crazy neighbors?!

Sorry you had to go thru that. Jeez!!
My husband tried to sneak out 2 years ago to go live with his girlfriend. I came home early while he was packing up the car. He took 40K (money for the roof to be fixed because it was leaking) and hauled ass, refused to divorce me and then moved to another state with her. I had to get a lawyer and now it's been two years, our mediation was Wednesday (finally) and I'm stuck in limbo with my crazy neighbor still next door and my wonderful smart 10 year old.

Yuk.

But mediation is best if you can agree. (We used a mediator when I divorced)

I’m glad you got your kid! They are the best. They will also test your patience! (Amine was 12 when we split up.)

I hope this turns out well in the end. That in between time going thru divorce is the toughest. I hope it goes quickly.

@Wonderer67 I love your flower pics! Beautiful
Nice to see where sunflower seeds come from, too. Tasty, tasty sunflower seeds

Life ain't about making plans, it's about making adjustments.
Ain't that the truth! Looks like you passed this week's exam. ;)
(Dear Universe - no more tests. At least for a while. Please and thank you.)
Catharsis. Also how we get the seeds for the upcoming year…

I like this method better - no glass shards. Plus - seeds 😁

Be good to each other. We don't know who needs it most.
SO true!!
I completely misread this. I didn't mean to dump all my issues out  I thought you asked me what my deal was. I missed the rest of that line. 🫣
What @Wonderer67 said. You're with friends here at the café.

Hugs for all that want or need one (or more - take as many as you'd like)
