Canadian women's soccer coach caught flying a drone with an Apple GoPro over the field where her next opponents were playing.

She was taping their formations/plays. Officials assume anything hovering over an event is a bomb.

Welp, that didn't take long.
FIFA Sanctions handed down today:

• Canadian women's soccer team assessed 6 penalty points at the START of the tournament, i.e. everyone starts at zero except Canada, they start at -6.

I just saw Simone Biles on tape delay do her balance beam routine....that young lady has exquisite control of every muscle in her body. Seeing her do that "one legged squatting thing that figure skaters do" (I don't know the name for that move) on the balance beam is awe inspiring.

Like Mary Lou Retton? I was shocked that she'd had 22 operations, mostly ligaments and tendons, in her post-Olympic life (admittedly, that's spanning 40+ years but that's still one surgery every two years!).

Edit: Evidently Simone Biles tweaked a calf muscle whilst warming up for her floor routine (to the point where she was limping) but still ended the day in first place with 59.66 points, ahead of everyone else.
