The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I got the yard work quote, vacuumed my bathroom kitchen and dining room floors.... did a load of laundry and am currently roasting veggies

I got my job offer paperwork after 6PM last night. I printed it and signed it and will take it in tomorrow. Got some stuff rearranged in the back of the truck anticipating Tuesday's drive Out West. With Kitten. I told her. She doesn't believe me. I took a whack at calibrating my pedometer and it seems to have made a difference. Morticia says the big half of the walk is 4.3 miles and p-meter says 4.2, and that's close enough.

I'm making another go of Wonderer's gravy with fewer Watisms. I think the crock pot got too hot, so I have it in a stock pot in the over on 170*. That's how I used to simmer stuff when I had a gas stove. We'll see.

Hahahaha... I totally will..... I am a wimp...unless you piss me off then I will crush you. I made a comment about what a commenter said during exhibition of Simone biles the gymnast, and some women said that I should hear what other men are saying about how good I am with my mouth that I think is so good.. I asked her to tell her husband that I said hi. She did not respond. Hahaha don't start nothing there won't be nothing

Don't start no Ess Ach and there won't be no Eye Tee.

Supper will be ready at 1800 eastern.

I feel very lazy in comparison... and that's okay for today.

Have a good sleep likes2!
Thank you. Took it's sweet 🍑 time but finally got some.
insomnia at 3 but found a way to get back to sleep
Lot of disturbed sleep going around rn. Glad you found your way back to sleep.
I unfortunately can't wean off things I have to make the change and muscle through
Every body is different. Glad you know yours well and know what works for you. YOU got this!
Glad the decision was clear and easy to make. 🍀 with the phone call. Never fun - necessary though.
My activity: brunch with friends, nice text from a good soul, a nap, and good ball game. Overall, a pretty nice day.
Sounds like an absolutely lovely day. Enjoy!!
Haha... ugh.... we both need big girl pants...... hahahahaha
✋ count me in... not everyday (thank goodness) but often enough
I forgot I also did laundry and baked some muffins. Let’s relax as we did a lot already.
Phew! I need a nap just reading everything you've both accomplished today. Great job, you two!

part chemistry, part artistry, with a soupçon of experimentation
why so many times I think, "close but it's missing a little something"

Her's a wondemous baby girl. She eyeballed the dryer while I was changing loads. No effort to investigate. She may view it as an awful monster now.

If you get a cat, get 2. You won't know the difference, really, but they will
20 years since I had cats and I still close the door on both washer and dryer between every load. Well trained human.

I started w/ the 1 cat but felt bad leaving her all alone all day when I went to work. So I got her a baby brother. Born the runt of his litter, he grew to be a 30 pound (13.6 kg) ball of love. They were a colony of 2 and the sweetest pair of goofs. I was so lucky to have them when I did. 😻

I certainly agree that two cats are the better option but if decide on one cat, that is great too.
True - most cats do well solo.
I was probably transferring my own feelings/experience from a large human family onto my first kitty. She probably would have been just fine solo. But with the addition of the 2nd, there were joint shenanigans galore over the years. No regrets.

Geezer Cat was alone for awhile. He's a bit different, tho'. His Other Half died and I think she moved into him. Sometimes he'll do something just like she would and I believe it more. It makes me wonder where they'll wind up when they transition. I guess we'll see. Ethyl is my vote.

The gravy is wondemous. Getting it too hot was the issue.
