Yep, Zionists invaded an already-settled land in 1948 and have been forcefully displacing the original residents ever since.

There were more jews kicked out of Arab land

Then Arabs leaving Israel cause there were told to do so by Arabs

But you know that

Good humans know this. But similar to the Orangutan, Xi, Putin, Un, Lukashenko, Orban and other autocrats, it's unlikely the Yahu will face any real consequences.
Israel could give a shit less about the UN Court. Their only mandate is to eradicate Hamas from the face of the Earth.

The creation of Israel in 1948 was not an invasion. It was a partition, dividing Palestine between the Palestinian Arabs and the Palestinian Jews. The Arabs refused to accept the Jews having self-rule and attacked. Surprisingly the Jews won, despite being outnumbered and surrounded.

Let's play some 'what if' here.

For the two state solution crowd. Exactly which "palestinian" faction do you think is going to rule over the people? Do you seriously think that Hamas, Hezbollah, and the PLO are going to peacefully resolve that question? The only thing those folks have in common is they hate the Jews more than they hate each other, but not by a huge amount.

Next up, let's pretend the all of the Jews in Israel have been transported to another dimension. Wide open territory. Obviously Hezbollah, Hamas, and the PLO are going to move in and fight for control. But now there's a fourth faction. The 2 million Arabs (Muslims) that live and work in Israel. The ones that decided not to wage war on the Jews. The ones that are part of the fabric of Israeli society. Which of those totalitarian regimes do you think they want to live under? All of the options believe them to be Jew loving apostates and subject to death.

As Billy would say, "But wait, there's more!"

Iran is going to back one of the factions and it doesn't matter which for all intents and purposes. Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia are NOT going to allow Iran to get their foot in the door so they will back the other factions. And we, the US, will have to back one or all of those nations. And then hope/pray the conflict doesn't spread.

If you haven't figured it out by now there is NO simplistic solution to the blood shed in that region of the world. It will continue unabated with or without Israel. With or without a two state (non)solution. The only realistic hope is to allow, and support, Israel in the complete eradication of those political factions. Iran will remain, but they can be dealt with from a distance.

Domestic support for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his right-wing Likud Party is on the rise as the Jewish State’s war against the Iran-backed Islamic terror group Hamas advances, according to poll numbers showing the right-wing bloc in Israel nearing 60 seats.

Israel’s Channel 14 published the results of a survey that Direct Polls conducted on Thursday evening, showing that if elections were held now, Netanyahu’s Likud Party would receive 28 mandates. The results are one of its best numbers since the October 7 massacre — the most brutal attack on Jews since the Nazi Holocaust — and an increase of four mandates from the previous poll.

Furthermore, in a contest for prime minister between Netanyahu and his longtime rival, centrist Benny Gantz, Netanyahu is the favored candidate, significantly leading with 48 percent support — the highest in 2o24 — compared to Gantz’s 28 percent.

The poll also showed Gantz’s National Unity Party coming in far second, receiving only 16 mandates.
The surge in Netanyahu’s support can be attributed largely to his stance against Hamas and a Palestinian state despite U.S. and domestic pressures.

The majority of Israel does not support Netanyahu. His party is gaining ground..he is not

From July 12

Poll finds 72% of Israelis think Netanyahu should quit over Oct. 7 failures

I agree with the 72%. The failures added to his predicted actions against the high courts should get his ass removed even before the war is over.

Hezbollah rockets just hit a children’s playground in Majdal Shams. There are many casualties, including dead children. The victims are mostly Druze.

I've heard reports that one of the interceptor missiles malfunctioned.

Not posting them, but I believe there is more to be discovered here upon investigation

It was definitely a rocket fired from Lebanon. There have been attempts to blame Israel, but Hezbollah initially claimed responsibility. When it became apparent the result was so horrific, they immediately scrubbed their previous claim.

I've seen photos of the carnage. It's as bad as you might imagine.

There is no doubt that a rocket was fired by Hezbollah.

Whether that was what caused the damage is not quite clear.

Yeah, an interceptor missile doesn’t carry the payload of an offensive rocket, so I would be highly skeptical of the reports that it was a malfunctioning interceptor.

I hadn’t heard the reports that Hezbollah originally claimed responsibility: Cite please.
