Shot fired at Trump?

I absolutely agree that she needs to be questioned. Your absolute focus on her is somewhat understandable, but short sighted.

Every single agent there should be questioned under oath. It kinda seems like you believe the entire failure was her fault...which from a "buck ends here" standpoint is great....from a process standpoint is horrible.

The American people need to understand the breakdowns that occurred and we need to have affirmations that the processes that led to those breakdowns are addressed

Cheatle resigned. She won't be the one to change anything.
You're actually making a valid point. The Secret Service had actually assigned snipers from local law enforcement to be stationed on that roof top. These snipers decided to go inside because it was getting hot. The Secret Service snipers were then having to discern if the shooter on the roof was a threat or just local cops who were not communicating.

As Strother Martin famously said in COOL HAND LUKE, "What we have here is a failure to communicate."

An informal tour is a bad euphemism for anarchy and a breach of America's symbol of freedom and democracy. That Babbitt died was a tragedy. She didn't have to. Believing in a wannabe dictator's claim that an election was stolen caused that.

Ashley Babbitt attempted to crawl through a smashed window in the barricaded doors that were the last barrier between the Congress members and the mob. The officer, sworn to protect the Congressmen, fired one shot. The mob stopped its assault as a result.

The tragedy didn't have to happen. Babbitt, a former soldier, knew the risks, believed Trump's lies, and acted of her own volition to breach that barrier.

Your take on the event is farcical. The police officers took great restraint in not using more deadly force during that attempted coup. That day, more than misguided Ashley Babbitt died: 'good people on both sides died!'
Once again you get your facts wrong.
Who besides Ashley Babbitt died that day?
Are you going to claim the Capitol Police officer who died days later of natural causes?

Some 'facts' for you that show I did not get 'my' facts wrong.

Guardian said five died

The police officer, Brian Sicknick, was struck with a fire extinguisher but returned to duty and collapsed. He spent several days on life support before he died; that accounts for your 'days later premise.'

Doctors attributed it to a head injury. That's the officer you say died of natural causes. I don't believe getting hammered with a fire extinguisher qualifies as a natural cause; perhaps you do. Death doesn't always happen instantaneously. Babbitt was shot, treated, and transported to the hospital, where she later died. Just like Sicknick, who later died.

The others at the insurrection were Trump supporters. They died due to medical complications, as some family members pointed out the elevated stress resulted in their deaths. The J6 insurrection contributed to their medical issues.

Their names are in the article as well as some of their backgrounds and medical concerns.

Don't overlook the root cause here. Donald Trump sent them marching down to the Capitol, and in the end, didn't keep his promise to be there with them as they looked for and wanted to hang Mike Pence.

Two men are accused of assaulting Sicknick by spraying a powerful chemical irritant at him during the siege, but prosecutors have not tied that exposure to Sicknick’s death.

4 people died on January 6th. The tally includes two rally participants who died of heart failure — including one who died before other protesters had breached the Capitol. It includes a rallygoer who was initially believed to have been trampled to death in the mayhem that day, but was later determined to have died of an accidental overdose. And Ashli Babbitt.

Truth, all 4 were Trump supporters.

Simple minded yes. Brainwashed? No. He spreads lies because his nature is to lie, cheat, and act like an asshole because he believes that the attention it gets him is desirable.

Awww that post happened after a few hours of the seige… after he got his jollies off in his dining room looking at what his people can do!

When he was hiding in the basement like a little cry baby, it took him no time to call out the troops to move the protestors in Lafayette square so he could take a picture with a prop Bible. He could have acted swiftly on J6 but he didn’t want to do it, screw his oath of office.

Proj 2025 will have folks pledging their oath to him instead of the constitution.., he already got that ball rolling in 2021.

I don't think he was grazed by the bullet. This is a high velocity round that would likely shatter his ear, potentially shatter his ear drum and in general make a mess of the side of his face. The shock wave itself would likely even break his cheek bone.

If only there was a way we could know for sure…

🤔

😑

The more that comes out, the more it looks like Democrats in the Biden Administration and the SS were deliberately exposing Trump in a way that gave them plausible deniability. Ongoing exposure like this, over months, is NOT a mistake or an accident. It's deliberate.

There is video of the Qanon Shamon very peacefully being led through the Capitol for an informal tour. The only people who were killed were killed by the police . Ashley Babbitt was shot by an African American DEI hire because she was an unarmed white woman.
You just joined here. Go ahead and overdose on your meds. Nobody will miss you.

Former White House official photographer and now AP senior photographer posted a super high-res picture a head shot of convicted felon Don-old J Trump boarding a plane this morning. Notice anything?

‘Look Closely at His Ear’

Yeah, if you look reeeeaaaally closely, you can see what appears to be a tiiiiiiny discolored divot / nick in the upper left portion of his ear which matches an apparent divot / nick in the bloody photo.

I suspect it was just a nick (bad enough) by a bullet or some shrapnel, and it required very minor treatment or healing time:

Just some minor cleaning up, a little antibiotic ointment, and “voila”, almost good as new . With ten days of healing time and a little makeup, (that Trump ALWAYS wears) I would be surprised to see much more than that little discolored divot / nick in the picture.

Trump was definitely NOT “shot THROUGH the ear with a bullet”.We can put that “crowd size” level exaggeration to rest.

The question in this thread was, who died other than the policeman? Perhaps as an aside, if he died in the line of duty or natural causes.

Arphy, not to belittle your reply or your aggressive need to be right, but the fact that legal charges were not brought against Sicknick’s two attackers has nothing to do with the medical determination of the cause of his death, nor the question(s) asked. Who, besides Sicknick, died? That’s the question asked and answered. Charges are irrelevant to the discussion. I get that it’s your shtick. You went down a legal beagle rabbit hole, or you were trying to find a good red herring to eat.

Note this reference regarding the cause of death:

“On January 7, 2021, a United States Capitol Police (USCP) officer, Brian Sicknick, died after suffering two strokes the day after he responded to an attack on the U.S. Capitol. The District of Columbia chief medical examiner found that Sicknick had died as the result of two strokes, classifying his death as natural, and additionally commented that "all that transpired played a role in his condition," a decision which was criticized by some expert neurologists, who have stated that stress from the attack may have very well caused the stroke. His cremated remains were laid in honor in the Capitol Rotunda on February 2, 2021, before they were buried with full honors at Arlington National Cemetery.”

Sicknick died and was honored by many. He was given a hero’s funeral. Don’t smirk or try and take that from his family. The root of his death is attributable to the events of J6 by the medical examiner and some expert neurologists. Listed is ‘natural causes’ as the primary description. The salient point is he defended the Capitol honorably and then expired. Medical opinions add that J6 was also a factor.

You seemed to get a lot of satisfaction from repeatedly typing, ‘false.’ After all your glibness, you count five dead just as I did: Sicknick, Babbitt, and three Trump supporters. It doesn’t matter what they died from or how. They died at the insurrection Trump fomented. Again, the question was simple: How many died? Not charged. None that you get to exclude for some arbitrary factor. Just the number of deaths was the question.

You count four dead and do not honor the policeman who lay in a coma and died later. His death must also be counted. You lie from soup to nuts, accusing me of lying about the numbers. Your legal beagle take needed to be more relevant to the questions.

Five… Five died. Is that false? Say it!

None of them should have. That responsibility lies with Trump. He sent them and ordered them to march.

Trump sent them with this, "We fight like hell. And if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore.... We're going to march down to the Capitol, and I'll be there with you!” The crappy tweet “I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence!” was merely a legal ploy to cover his ass from prosecution. He said that after the insurrection started. Go ahead, lawyer, try to square that with his statement that maybe Mike Pence deserved it, too. Does that sound like he called for ‘be peaceful’ minions? Trump bears responsibility but refuses to acknowledge that. He never accepts responsibility for his actions and has loons like you defending him.

Conveniently, you ignore,

'Come down, it'll be wild'.
'You have to fight like hell'
'If you don't fight you won't have a country any more'.

This was an insurrection caused by Nancy Pelosi.”

Basically you lie like a felon being interviewed. The bit about 'no violence' was posted after several hours of violence.
