Can’t say as I’m really surprised - the small donors were primed to engage (with money and action) after the behavior of the elite donor class l, etc, towards President Biden AND Vice President Harris (and the normal energy that is associated with events of this magnitude.)

This could also be seen as the voting public blocking the elite donor class from supplanting the entire Biden / Harris ticket. It’s definitely sending a message - no matter who is receiving it.

Harris and the concept of national leadership is an absurdity. There is a reason why women have never been elected President in the US. They cannot and do not project the levels of leadership and strength that men do. Despite the fantasies of the left they cannot escape the realities of biology. Americans want to see at least the DNA of a warrior in their Commander in Chief commanding the most lethal military force in the World. Europeans can do otherwise in their preference of projecting weakness. Americans are different. The strongest force in the World today is manhood fueled by testosterone. It builds and maintains civilization. Its the fundamental biological strength of men that in the final analysis enforces the laws and protects the rights of women and the weak. Traditionally, Americans have demanded the strongest qualities of leadership at the highest levels and here in the US that means men. Female leadership is emotional leadership. It's about what they feel as opposed to what they know. It has failed us in the educational field, the corporate world, in the public space, and where they lead they have degraded the military. Just like they would degrade professional men's sports if they were allowed in the NBA, MLB, NFL, or men's Olympic competition. We have to face reality.

I think of all the women and men that have given their lives for this country. I almost tear up thinking of the guys storming the Normandy Beaches. Since President Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 race and endorsed Harris’ campaign on Sunday afternoon, a campaign official said, “We have seen an overwhelming surge in volunteer sign-ups across the battlegrounds. More than 28,481 individuals have signed up to volunteer with the campaign who had not volunteered before.”


That is more than 100 times the average day of campaign volunteer signups, the official said.


In two battleground states, the official added, Pennsylvania and Nevada, volunteers “literally showed up at field offices asking to help.”

The survey, conducted July 21-22 among 1,071 registered voters who identify as Democrats, finds that 79% of Democratic voters feel the party should nominate Kamala Harris for president, while 21% prefer someone else. A broad majority, 83%, say they approve of Biden’s decision to step aside, and on balance, they see the party’s chances of winning against Donald Trump as better after Biden stepped aside (45%) rather than worse (10%). About 3 in 10 say the party’s chances depend on who the nominee is (28%) and 17% say Democrats’ chances to win the presidency are unchanged.

Roughly 4 in 10 Democratic voters say they are now more motivated to vote in 2024 (39%), while just 6% say they are less motivated to vote with Biden having stepped aside. About half say their motivation to vote is unchanged (49%).

The survey finds few subgroup differences in support for Harris as the next nominee, though liberals (82%) are somewhat more likely to support her than are moderates (72%).

WASHINGTON — Former President Barack Obama didn’t endorse Kamala Harris — saying Democrats would pick an unnamed “outstanding nominee” in his first statement on President Biden stepping aside from the party’s ticket.

Obama, 62, was joined by former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) in not immediately backing the 59-year-old vice president — following reports last week that both favored an “open” process to replace Biden.

“We will be navigating uncharted waters in the days ahead,” Obama said.
