Why Biden Will Win

I pointed out earlier that the only realistic Democratic path to victory that I see is 270-268. That's basically the 2020 map, except that the Republicans win back Georgia and Arizona, and also gain Nevada, while the Democrats hold on to Nebraska's second congressional district electoral vote. If the Republicans win the latter, it would be 269-269, a recipe for chaos in the current climate.
You can point out whatever you want. Harris would take votes that aren't in play right now. Those voters are staying home because the old fucks are running.

You are making shit up about my position and missing the point that you’re undermining your credibility and that of the Democrats as a party.

What did I make up?

If you judge my credibility lacking that is on you.

Which votes? Whitmer would at least be big in the blue wall (on paper), but even then (assuming that the Democrats win all of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin) it's razor thin in the electoral college if the Republicans win back Georgia and Arizona, and gain Nevada, and could come down to Nebraska's second congressional district electoral vote.

Harris would not have the same impact in the blue wall, and if just one of those three states goes red, it's surely over.

And if Harris was passed over, wouldn't that seriously piss off the black vote? And how do the Democrats avoid 1972 type vibes?

You're a little too stuck on what you think is going to happen. At the moment, in every state, the voters that aren't there are the double haters.

If you add them, the current trends are blown out of the water and Nevada, Georgia and Arizona are back in play, as are the other battleground states....and Id even throw in Ohio.

Doesn't it just. LOL. Personally, I feel we should encourage them. Hubris goeth before the fall, or whatever the expression is.

I am by no means convinced Trump will win though. Democrats magically produced enough votes out of their asses at 3am last election. Nothing to say it won't happen again, except perhaps the sure fire knowledge that there is an infallible remedy that they very nearly discovered last weekend.
For a Trumper to believe Trump might not win is a Hallmark moment.

As to magically producing enough votes, that's not how it worked then or will work now. The votes were cast in a fair manner, tabulated, and checked after numerous howling that dead people, illegals, Italian satellites, and bamboo shoots proved they were 'magically' produced. That was false, then, and will be false again.

It's not smoking mushrooms, Chloe, that trips one up. Hubris may be the outcome for Donald Trump one more time. He didn't get it in his first loss, in his convictions, nor in his assaults on his opponents. He didn't get it then or now because of his narcissistic mindset. Trump has mental problems that way.

Nyx Shadowhawk in Quora puts it this way:

"In Greek, hybris has a specifically violent connotation. There’s no exact translation for it. Hybris is a deliberate, spiteful, audacious act of violence, often motivated by one’s own arrogance and the desire to dishonor someone else. In Rhetoric, Aristotle defines hybris as “…a form of slighting, since it consists in doing and saying things that cause shame to the victim, not in order that anything may happen to yourself, or because anything has happened to yourself, but simply for the pleasure involved.” In short, hybris is being an asshole to someone else for the sake of your own satisfaction."

Those here who malign the President exhibit Trump's traits and the very definition of hubris as well. Yes, Pride goes does go before the fall...

But Obama, Pelossi and Schumer clearly don’t agree with you…….do you disregard them ?

🙄

I disagree with AND disregard them.

Those individuals have donors (elites) in their ears who may very well be detached from the voting public or have ulterioo motives / agendas. (motives / agendas which have also been explained ad nauseam).

I believe it’s time President Biden calls their bluff and makes them choose between him and another Trump presidency - and that goes for all those "regular" voters on the left who blame President Biden for his Israel-Gaza policy after HAMAS committed an unspeakable atrocity and Israel acted in its sovereign defense.

If those ^ groups want another Trump presidency and all the racism, bigotry, corruption, chaos and perils that come with it, then President Biden should make them own their decision and force them to snub him at the ballot box - just like the Bernie Bros did to Hillary Clinton in 2016.

You're a little too stuck on what you think is going to happen.
Obviously. What else should I do? Reality exists.

Which polls have Georgia, Arizona and Nevada back in play? The talk has been the likes of Minnesota, Colorado and Virginia being in play, even New York, New Jersey and Oregon if it goes further.

You think Trump is going to lose Ohio this year, with J.D. Vance as his running mate?

I just can't believe the audacity of the likes of Obama, Pelosi and Schumer. They wanted Clinton in 2016 and gave us President Trump, and this year basically forced Biden through a primary coronation, and yet now demand that he goes in July, and they no doubt expect Democratic rank and file people to fall in line (cult style) behind another anointed candidate.

It's extremely elitist, and the elitists are increasingly hated in both the big two parties. The Clinton types, the Reagan types, i.e. the DINOs and the RINOs.

Yeah, you ducked that quite badly. You think people can’t see ?

Schumer, Pelossi and Obama are wrong and you’re right ?

They're listening to the worried white male donors. Not the people.

So let me guess, you are suddenly in agreement with the three because they say what you want to hear.

The reality is that Trump's a fucking lunatic mess of a dementia patient. You support that. You don't get to question anything about Biden. Not at least with any kind of standing.

And you still don't think.

Understand that adding voters changes the dynamic and the landscape

People in Ohio don't like Vance.. He barely won his seat.

We have more non-thinkers here? Seems to be spreading!

The same Democrats pressuring Biden to withdraw were all in before the debate. They don’t give a fuck about their primary voters referendum of support for Biden. They don’t give a fuck about democracy. They don’t give a fuck what the man they placed in the White House thinks. And they don’t care about his physical and mental health. All they care about is maintaining their power.

It's not just elitists.
Do you understand what I mean by the 1972 vibes? George McGovern pissed off feminists and then appointed Thomas Eagleton as his running mate, and then basically dumped Eagleton when it came out about his electroshock therapy, and McGovern basically looked around for a replacement and got rejection after rejection before Sargent Shriver accepted. McGovern got annihilated at the election, largely because of the total chaos in his campaign, not to mention Nixon stealing his big policy (i.e. withdrawal from the Vietnam War).

McGovern only won 1 state (Massachusetts) plus DC. The dynamics won't allow that to happen to that extent this year, but such infighting and chaos in the Democratic Party this late in the year could allow Trump to win up to 40 states.

Once again, the question becomes, what path do they see for Democratic victory in the electoral college? They should have been asking themselves this before the primaries, not in July of the election year.

I would say most of the same things about your candidate.

Doesn’t give a fuck about the voters.

Only wants his power. He could care less what folks think, since he knows his supporters are stupid… sorry he has such a low opinion of you.

Every state is in play right now.

Predictions of states are fun.

More votes in battleground states means possible wins in battleground states. It's not rocket science.

The party can do what the party wants to do

No one has yet addressed the big question. If Joe steps out, do you REALLY think the 'Pubs will let a new name take his place? They'll be all over the courts, filing all sorts of motions. The various 'Pub SOSs will do everything possible to make sure no one replaces him on the ballot. So you'll either have Joe's name on the ballot. or maybe no nae beside the (D) spot.

If they were about having the will of the people, they would stop trying to exclude folks from voting.

Let someone have a bottle of water.

Don’t clear the vote rolls in specific neighborhoods just so they have to re-register.

Allow them to vote on more than Election Day, those with hourly jobs won’t have flexibility to vote that day…salary folks have the flexibility…

You need a lot of attention. That hasn't changed. Anyway, you don't really get to criticize anyone for sharpness because A, well you're you and you're a dipshit. And B you support Trump who literally can't even get a complete thought out unless it's a rendition of his lunch with Hannibal Lecter.
Huh? :)
