Yes, there's a lot that's fishy about the assassination attempt. One of the things that isn't fishy, is that Trump went down and came back up bloody. Now you might want to believe he injured himself, but you have exactly zero proof of that. So, rather than contribute to a baseless tin foil hat conspiracy theory, you might want to have a seat and shut the hell up before other people besides me start to point and laugh at you.

It wasn't only Trump that dodged the bullet, the free west dodged it too. We came within an inch of seeing Trumps head blown off, live, in front of millions of his supporters. The way politics is at the moment in the US it could very easily have lead to a civil war. With China Russia, Iran and NK waiting in the wings. The consequences don't bear thinking about.

As for the lad, he was only 20yrs old. They could have scheduled a briefing and brought in the ER doc who treated the wound to assure the people that Trump wasn't in mortal danger or critical condition. This could have been done in a matter of a few hours or even the next day. It's been a week and we still don't know much more than we did last Saturday.
