A horse walks into a bar. Bartender looks at him and asks, "So, why the long face?"What did the horse say when it tripped
Help, I've fallen and can't giddy-up

What is the point of inflammatory remarks if they're voiced sloppily? If words count then make ALL words count!!
I know there are bobcats in our part of NJ, but I’ve never heard or seen one.I’ve had a couple or three Bobcat encounters over the years. The first one was sitting on my uncles back porch having coffee. A cat walked out by his dog pens, he bred Irish Setters and the dogs were going ape-shit. As she walked off a big (I assume) male walked out snarling and growling. Hot on her trail. Never even looked twice at the dogs!
The second one was coming out of a deer stand at twilight. Walking in the dark back to camp. I heard a blood curdling screech and growl…scared? Hell yes! Never saw that kitty, which made it more unsettling!
Damn that looks delish. So glad to be back and trying one of the deluxe hot chocolates rather than my usual pissy tea. May I have a spoon and a napkin though please?
I didn’t know if I should put a love or a sad emoji on this…One year ago today and at about this time of day, A good fellow lay down and didn't get up again. Seems he had had enough. He was there and I was here, but while I was there, he made it a point to let me know that his horsiness thought that I'm okay for a human. I think about him every day. He was, we think, 32, which is a bit old for equines.
I feel like we have unfinished business.

He was a good boy. And a good soul.
Was that calypso?
Night Wat, pleasant dreams.Fixin' to wrap it up here shortly. Still worrying through these 2 eastern front books. Cats are calm, resting up for their 3AM house race.
Y'all play nice.
Morning RJ!
I’m sorry for you and especially your neighbor’s family. Remember those wonderful moments she created.Toughish day today. We have a funeral for a neighbour. She was 90 but had little family so hoping there will be a few of us from the village there to see her off. She was a real character. Tough and caustic as hell but if she liked you she was great company and sharp as a tack!
Good morning Wat. Take it easy in the heat. On Cup 2 also.Best wishes from this Yank to your neighbor and neighborhood. She sounds a bit like Dr. Tyler when she is at her crunchy best.
Happy Friday!!! Slept okay. Looks like we get spared the rain today. The grass might get cut this afternoon since it's a bit cooler. Maybe - I don't want to get irrational here since it's not to my knees yet. It's 70/91 right now, cool enough not to suck too much while doing the morning walk thing. We seem to have found a good 10K steps course. I wonder how this will work when I go back to work, but I'm not going to spend any time worrying about what hasn't happened yet.
I presume that most of you are talking to Lili. We started messaging week before last. She's in mostly good spirits and is upbeat, but she is still undergoing adjustments as you can well understand under the circumstances. She's a good soul and we miss her.
Cuppa #2 now - missing my horse some more . . . .
