One could also point to the verified reports of failed Hamas rocket launches (etc) killing their own citizens, verified reports of Gazan civilians murdering each other, and verified reports of Gazan civilians being murdered by Hamas, PIJ, etc, as a reason for added skepticism about reports of civilian deaths in Gaza that are the direct result of IDF actions.

Joe Biden’s $320 million floating Gaza pier will be permanently dismantled after operating for only 21 days.

The US military recently completed the construction of the floating pier which was to be used to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.

The pier was a total disaster from day one. Large waves and strong currents destroyed the pier. Vessels breached on shore after heavy waves.


Now just after 21 days – and $320 million of taxpayer money – the pier will be permanently dismantled.

I think the military uses quotas to estimate the losses of enemies and multiples that to get an estimation of the losses by killed and wounded.

The Vietnam war and the US bodycount there is a good example how reliable that is even you rely on estimations from your own side. If I remember that correctly, the US military assumed a breakdown of the VC based on that estimations just before the Tet-offensive.

How liable will then be the bodycount of a party interesed in a very high figure?

I am not supporting Hamas.

Yup, they come up with a new leader, but generals without armies are just silly strutting peacocks. Hamas is being gutted to its core and will never be allowed to reform. Israel is going to occupy the Gaza and dictate everything that is allowed to go on there until such time as a new generation, not indoctrinated into a death cult, can step forward.

Hamas's goal is NOT to create some Palestinian state, but to eliminate Israel and exterminate the Jews, that's it, that's their goal.
