When Crooks starts shooting you actually see the standing sniper flinch and lift his rifle and tripod. Maybe he recovers from that but the prone sniper never moved a muscle. I think he had Crooks in his crosshair the entire time. Or at least his head.See, I actually thought it was the standing sniper that took the shooter out, and that he stood up taller to see if he had eliminated the threat:
The shooter was on a slight slope, so after he was shot he slumped back from the apex of the slope and was lying perfectly flat. I was of the impression that the standing sniper stood up taller to peek over the apex of the slope after the shooter slumped back from being killed because he lost sight of the shooter after he shot, and then he returned to his scope in case the the shooter was just playing possum and was getting ready to pop up again. The other sniper just appeared to be perfectly still the whole time, waiting in case the shooter popped up again.
I would be interested to know which one actually ended the threat, but it isn’t a critical piece of information I couldn’t live without.
