Shot fired at Trump?

So many of you on here have to take a step back and look at things using common sense and reasonable thought. Our country's founders would all be rolling over in their graves right now with some of the things going on. Every day we have less and less freedom and most people (actually on both sides) just don't see that. Give people freedom and let them live their own lives instead of trying to protect them from themselves, telling them how to live their lives, or telling them what is best for them.

And as for the media today, they couldn't get a story factually right if it hit them in the face. Trust me. I dealt with the media for years and it is a total joke. They need to go back to good old factual reporting instead of just throwing things out there to say they were the first one with the story.

Done with my rant for the day.
So you don’t like Fox. Got it. They are doing a little better since sending Tucker away.

LOL. MSNBC have pulled Morning Joe from the air. The radical left executives at the network made the call to pull "Morning Joe" off the air in the wake of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. The reason why is telling. According to CNN, an extreme left network promoting conspiracy theories, which reported the development, this wasn't a case of routine preemption. After all, "Morning Joe" has been left intact through essentially every other breaking news story since its inception. Instead, the decision came from a much darker place: MSNBC couldn't trust that Joe, Mika, and its stable of lunatics wouldn't compare Trump to Hitler again.

"Morning Joe" has long been ground zero for "Trump is Hitler" rhetoric. Just a few months ago, Joe Scarborough claimed Republicans were like nazis excusing Kristallnacht, the violent and deadly attack on Jews that started the Holocaust. In late 2023, the host said Trump was going "full-on Hitler." The leadership at MSNBC, which itself is far from innocent in this scenario, took one look at the show's history and concluded that they simply couldn't trust that "Morning Joe" wouldn't address Trump's assassination by calling him a fascist who deserved it. It's astonishing, yet somehow not surprising.

It's also an admission. It's an admission that MSNBC and its litany of deranged hosts, from Nicole Wallace to Joy Reid, played a role in the attempted assassination of Trump. For years, they've been frantically calling Trump and other Republicans not just political opponents but literal "threats to democracy" who will end elections and set up a dictatorship. Those chickens came home to roost on Saturday, and instead of admitting there was a problem, MSNBC chose to cover it up temporarily.

Soooo... bitching about so called incendiary rhetoric from democrats, all the while ignoring the incendiary rhetoric from the media sources they consume, supporting the one man who is the single largest source of incendiary rhetoric in the country and then gloating when they perceive MSNBC to be pulling Morning Joe in an effort to cool down incendiary rhetoric.

Okey dokey.

Fucksakes.

That’s all Naziboobs knows how to do. It’s his thing. He’s all upset about his cost of living in Cali and has to be mad at someone. He could move but that requires some planning. Easier to do this.

I tend have my own independent thoughts and views on things. I don't like being put into a box on one side or the other.

Yes, but they could not be certain that the shooter was acting alone at that time.
It's obvious the SS wasn't conscience of anything until shots were fired. They stood Trump up after a radio call of "shooter Down." This is either a case of total incompetence on the part of the SS or it was an inside job. There is no excuse for ceding an elevated shooting position anywhere within rifle range of the former President. The SS should have been on that roof.

There is not enough information to make this conclusion.

All we know is that SS failed to protect 45. The explanation of that will come over time.

There are a ton of variables involved here.

But you can always just blame women for it and call it a day 👍

Fox was sued for lying and lost.
Argue all you want to about your so-called ‘independent thinking’ 🙄.

It’s a deeper tell that you failed to include them.

It that obvious? Was it only the local police that people were alerting when they saw Crooks on the roof prior to the shots being fired? I agree it was a security complete failure.

After Trump was certified SND (Scratched, Not Dead), did he speak to the families of the deceased or to the injured in hospital, or did he go straight to his Bedminster golf course?

Answers on a postcard...

I was replying to dkovic77 where he said "So you don’t like Fox. Got it. They are doing a little better since sending Tucker away." Just lumping in all the other networks. I didn't include CNN, MSNBC or others. Does that say something about me? Again, I think for myself and make my own opinions based on the facts. I dealt with reporters throughout my career. Regardless of the network, TV station, radio station or newspaper, some are smart and some are dumb as rocks. Although I really did (and still do) resent being quoted by reporters when they have never talked to me. You would be surprised.

We have to consider the possibility that Thomas Crooks was a patsy—a gullible true believer who was recruited by the Trump campaign to shoot at the candidate and miss for a photo op. We don’t know how Donald Trump’s ear was injured. The only person who definitely was shot was the man who was killed in the crowd behind him.
