I just can’t check? When I’m at my in-laws we go a few miles off shore in their 19” speed boat, and I jump in the water to cool off. If the boat was more than 50’ away……that would suck out there, and then Open Water visions start happening

Being on a small boat (think The Orca from Jaws) far enough out that you can't see the shore was...existential for me. I loved it, but I am a child of mountains and trees. Being in that much open gave me a bit of agoraphobia.

This was part of a team costume for a curling bonspiel in Canada. (We did not curl in the costumes). The theme of the weekend was Deep Blue Sea. Our team was Trash Talk, the fish netting was adorned with trash, as well as ‘trash-talk’ messages in bottles.
This seems incredibly dangerous with this group of people
