I feel like this about most things. When topics get heated or too noisy, I largely take a step back. Or ten. It’s not that I don’t have an opinion, but it’s not a situation that I want to participate in. I might try to lighten the mood, but I don’t have a desire to wade into the loud fray

I’ll chime in when it calms down and I think I have something relevant and helpful to contribute.
