Sex & Shenanigans

Up until Craig I had a strong theory that most boy’s favorite Bond was the one they saw when they were 13. But yeah Craig is pretty good. I’m more a Jason Bourne guy though.
Craig made Bond into a rough action hero who didn't have to be "pretty." But... he was. I still think about those blue swim trunks... They accentuated his pack... uhm... eyes.

I am not sure the world needs a new Bond film anyway. Or the last several. I think we have moved past that character.
That's a good point though. You look at some of the older shows and the old tech and the new tech of the new shows and culture. Just seems absurd in some ways. The story etc, yea. The entertainment value is good though. That's the point of why they keep making the bloody things.

Last one I watched was the the last one made, I saw in a 4D theatre. That was fun. I was skeptical, having never done a 4D movie, but it was worth the experience.

What makes it 4D?

I think it’s a fun series … if it continues to grow and evolve with new storylines and new characters
New storylines, sure. But the character hasn't really evolved. If it does, he becomes a fundamentally different character, and why not just make a fundamentally different character? Daniel Craig's bond was far more MovieJason Bourne than Jason Bourne was based on Bond.

When MrsT and I went, the tickets were much higher.. first thing you notice! 🤣😂

When there's gun fights, light go off from near the general direction of the gunfire, mist hits you when there's water splashes, your seat rocks and bumps in car chases, (damn near fell out of mine), the seat bumps a lot in hand to hand combat. Stuff like that.

What the actual fuck? No thank you. I don't want to have to take a dramamine before seeing a movie.

They are fine as artifacts of their time, and fun, but th

They punch you in the face in fight scenes, throw toast, the whole nine yards.

And gun fights? Forget about it! Went to see Saving Private Ryan and 80% of the audience didn't survive the first half hour...

Lmao I was thinking that as well …

Did you ever watch that action movie that was in first person view the whole time… I can’t remember the name. I made it all of 5 minutes and turned it off.
I did the same thing. Then a month later watched the whole thing. It's different. Takes getting used to.

I like when producers make something different. Not always "like" I guess, but the effort is great. sometimes they suck.

Last one I saw that broke hollywood mainstream norms was They Cloned Tyrone

Such a good movie

Crepes are wonderful too! I was just down at the coast and there is a crepery there. No place to sit down -- they sell out of the window like a built in food cart. Savory and sweet crepes. The ham and cheese ones are so fucking good.
How are they different from Blintzes?
