Cock Talk

Lit is absolutely individualized. But one can't help but notice that an attractive girl is going to have a very different experience than, say, an average man or woman.
Do you usually know what anyone looks like when they first posting?

Women have a different experience on Lit than men just due to supply and demand.

Soooo… are you gonna refresh that link for us or what? 😜
It's such an insecurity for me on that thread lol. I don't understand the soft attractiveness thing. But it's what I had on hand so I went with it. Just like if I post my face. It gets an unbelievably short timer😆

If they post pics or have their pics in their avatars, then yes.

Or, if you're on the Welcome Committee, I presume you get them early.
So people who project hot girl have a different experience...

I still think it's all women have a different experience. We basically have an unlimited of supply of men on here that are willing to talk to us. I'm not sure that even the most successful men here can say that of women chat friends.

Cause it's interesting in see it in all it's stages. I want to know where it starts as well as where how it ends up.

I'm not sure that even the most successful men here

Projection is a massive part of it. "Hot Girl" or BDE gets responses, by the nature of where we are. If you have a different vibe, you get a different experience, as you said.

I agree with you. Terrible the way things have changed, isn't it?

Agreed, SnS definitely is the dominant thread on the forum. But I don't think that it makes for a place to get to know people. In fact, I'd say that particular thread is quite the opposite. It's a place for people who know one another to banter. I'm not saying that's bad. But the hyperspeed at which one must interact isn't easy for newcomers. I'm honestly surprised you can keep up, Bogey. I think a thread like this

And I'm not saying there shouldn't be a place for people who know each other to banter. But I think using SnS as the poster child for inclusivity shows that you probably don't understand what Woody was saying. My advice to Woody would be to seek out threads that move slower and are a bit more inclusive.

And what I'm also hearing is that you want more pmann threads.
You are correct S&S can move at breakneck speed but people have shown up, found a subject they were interested in and joined in. You are incorrect that it isn't inclusive. There is little doubt the lion's share of the credit for that goes to @crazychemgirl who goes out of her way to make new folks feel welcome and included.

As with everywhere in Lit, there are exceptions. TS's problem (I'm guessing he's young) was he choose a couple of women in there and continually quoted them and tried to make sexual innuendo jokes. It was the equivalent of seeing a women at a bar and using "I like your skirt but I'd like it even better in my bedroom floor" as your introductory line. Some folks tried to steer him in a better direction with humor. It didn't work.
But by all means you should interject opinion into the situation without facts. Telling me I don't know what Woody was saying when you've read 2 of his posts is comical.

This is absolutely true. I have argued this with her, because she doesn't see it, but the whole thread is molded by her outgoing, friendly, sarcastic, and, to use the keyword of the day, inclusive personality. And the feel in there when she is not ring leading can be a bit different from days when she is less involved working at her job.

Because of the depth and breadth of that thread, spending some time beforehand to read it and not trying so very hard to jump in with both feet is almost essential. And CCG is perfect at making that transition easier.

And I know. I have made missteps and gotten slapped --rightly so-- before. It is very much "learn or leave."

I mean, I can't imagine that's even debatable. Of course someone who projects being a hot girl has a different experience. Have you never heard the term pretty privilege? Probably not because I just made it up. Although I'm certain someone else has used it before.

It is a basic economics equation, indeed. 50% of the population is in control of 100% of the pussy. It is like OPEC.

I actually had a thread about the economics of Lit. I postulate that the most successful men here (like the very top tier guys) actually have it best. Not in terms of quantity. Any woman can get a chat friend right now if they want to. They can get 20 if they post their tits. Again, it doesn't matter what the quality is. But I think the number of quality guys who can write well, act respectful, engage in interesting conversation, etc. is smaller than the number of women who can do the same. So a larger pool of women are competing for a smaller pool of quality men. Think luxury item is inferior goods to put it in simple economic terms.

Now I'm certain some women here are going to deny that, in which case they should post their names here. That won't cause a stir. :D

See... a nice discussion and you have to go and be all grumpy. I'm not sure why you felt the need for that, especially given that it has been a pretty healthy and enjoyable discussion.

I was very clear in several posts that I said I hadn't read his other posts. Nevertheless, one's past behaviours does not make the statement true or false, only less palatable to the observers.
