we were told over here when I was breast feeding that if you ate strong flavoured food it would make it's way to the milk and alter the flavour and the baby may not like it - so curry, and chillis etc.

I don't know how true that is - and I didn't let it bother me....

I was so young, and self conscious. I would actually avoid orgasms because the way my body & arms would flex, milk would go shooting across the room I was absolutely mortified. If he'd reacted differently, or shown interest, maybe it would've been different.

However, that was a long time ago, and I don't give it much thought, other than to thank the genetic lottery that my breast are still fairly firm and don't look like I nursed three kids! Is there a titty god somewhere I should make a shrine & offerings to for my good fortune?

Actually, yes. Like @aussiegeekygal , I’m a year weaned off breastfeeding and still lactating (though nowhere near what I was a year ago)

Nope. He wasn’t grossed out by my breastfeeding but he definitely wanted no involvement.
