My mom used to make fruitcake with that nasty candied fruit and peels. I hated it!

If I make it, there's dried fruits and nuts, along with spirits, in it!

The Management makes a great fruit loaf. It’s best left a few days in foil then it’s super moist. I slap butter on and it’s delicious!

Busy sad day for me. Will be at a memorial service for a friend in the village. She died recently leaving her husband in his late eighties. Nearest family is Edinburgh, seventy miles away, so we will be looking out for him. He has a huge house so he will feel really lonely when it all quietens down.

More than some, methinks. I rode by a job near the house the other day. It's being done by a company that is perpetually looking for people. Sure enough, I saw the old truck of Jabba s000per I used to work with. Yeah, don't even want to think about working there. Jabba can have them, and they can have Jabba.

My favorite cornbread recipe uses a whole stick of butter. It gets melted in the pan during preheating, swirled to coat the pan, then the rest stirred into the batter just before baking. OMG! it is so good!

I guess I better get my culinary thinking cap on to see if I can find you a coffeecake and coffeeroll thingie recipe!

That's what bacon grease is for, but only 3 tablespoons. And it preps the pan and then is stirred in the same way.

That is almost as hot as it was here yesterday of 90. I would never expect those temps either in WA or MI.

Yeah he saw them coming. He drove truck his whole life but he was pissed..... semis cause the problems huh..... that is why I get really possy when i hear people say that.... people r dangerous no matter the wheel they are holding....

My brother in law was a truck driver and told so many stories of crazy drivers. He told me how to drive so trucks could see me. I follow his advice today.
