They seemed like they wouldn't suck to work with/for.

At a former job we used to leave a potential new hire with their future co-workers for an hour or two and let them decide if he/she was someone they wanted to work with.

The longer they stayed the better, if they were back in 15 minutes we wished them good luck.

It works, you don’t want to find out there are personality issues after they are hired.

We were waiting for AAA to get there to open the thing, and as I stood there, I tried to get her walk walk back over the lock/unlock button. She hit it a few times, but always on the lock side. Seems she does it because she stands in the window to watch me pump gas.


Nowadays, when I go to the gas station, and I'm alone, I take the keys every single time, and I holler back into the truck, "don't lock the door, Ethyl."


And she doesn't . . . .
