So we have avoided the true problem with all this hot weather. The wearing of bras. Whoever thought it was a good idea to encase two lumps of Flesh into a harness made of unnatural Fabrics and wire that you have to put on when you're sweating yourself to death... is a dick

Why I moved on to sports bras if I wear one. Still unnatural fabric, but WAAAAAAY more comfortable than the damn poky underwires!

When I was working the one job (that I no longer have), Kitten came to a couple of video conferences. She knows how everyone wants to see her. She used to come to work, too.


Didn't hear a follow-up after the interview. My guess is, something had to be cleared up the ladder, and it's Friday and hot and it just didn't happen. I think this one is a go. And I got a reject email from another position without so much as human contact. Fuck 'em.

Some companies just suck! Then they complain that "nobody wants to work anymore!"

Me too. Our cat found a mouse and of course brought it into the bedroom and made a ruckus. Been up since three or so.

I have a damn fine cornbread recipe.


I'd like a damn fine coffeecake recipe.


And a damn fine coffeeroll thingie recipe.

My favorite cornbread recipe uses a whole stick of butter. It gets melted in the pan during preheating, swirled to coat the pan, then the rest stirred into the batter just before baking. OMG! it is so good!

I guess I better get my culinary thinking cap on to see if I can find you a coffeecake and coffeeroll thingie recipe!

I woke up once at 3 am to a baby rabbit screaming. Thanks to our indoor ourdoor cat. The next day we blocked off the doggie door he was using!

My little girl has discovered how to open the pocket door to the stairs that go down to the garage! I even blocked it off with a chair today; she still met us at the door at the bottom of the stairs!

Yeah he saw them coming. He drove truck his whole life but he was pissed..... semis cause the problems huh..... that is why I get really possy when i hear people say that.... people r dangerous no matter the wheel they are holding....

I still remember the "How to Drive with Trucks" talk from my dad.
It started with respect and understanding both for the driver and the sheer power of the 18-wheeler.

Impressive, Wat! I especially like the "whacking the rod on a solid surface" step!

My little girl has discovered how to open the pocket door to the stairs that go down to the garage! I even blocked it off with a chair today; she still met us at the door at the bottom of the stairs!

Mine would use both front paws to open the kitchen drawers to use them as steps. The drawers had round knobs. Didn't hold him back any. Was thankful I didn't have accessible door knobs back then. He snuck out often enough as it was.

Had a co-worker who had just moved back after years in the Caribbean. I looked up the recipe and made it on her first day. I'm sure it wasn't "just like home" but she appreciated the effort and there were no leftovers.

Given the 3 flavors I make most often, it's easier to make full batches.
They got all 3 that day:
Triple Fudge Brownies
Mint Fudge Brownies
Lemon Brownies*
*same recipe works well for any citrus

Not yet for me! This is prime Lilianna time!

*sigh* But it's my bedtime... getting late, even for a Friday night (for me)
